I friggin hate dwarf dogs. Give me a lab/shepard/spaniel something, anything mutt with actual legs and not an a-hole small dog temperament any day
Don't care how cute they are.
That is not a dog. That is lunch for a bigger dog…
"Muffy, meet Adolf. Adolf, eat Muffy!"
Both breeds are appealing as house pets, but Corgis are known for being bossy, yappy and very needy. They are definitely pack animals and not thrilled with long periods of solitude.
Most dachshunds are a little bit lower key, so long as they haven’t been too spoiled or isolated as puppies.
Like Cocker Spaniels, those droopy Dachshund ears will need monitoring for infections or ear wax.
Cute dog. Looks happy.
Don’t see them replacing the pittie as hood doggo of choice.
We used to call them mutts.
I smell World Tour.
Indeed.
You have to admit, that dog 🐶 is sort of cute.
Should’ve named the pup Trip Hazard.
...or Coyote Snack
Used to call them muts or Heinz 57.
My daughter had a miniature dachshund. Very stiff-necked sometimes. He’d play ball all day long if you were willing. But God help you if you left any sort of food within reach. I came home once and he had gotten into my backpack where I had 4 Cliff bars from a camping trip. Somehow he ate them all. He was like a very small land shark when it came to food.
On a recent project I had to deal with this heel nipper.
She finally had to be locked up whenever I was onsite.
I am a former owner of labradors and one Great Dane. As far as I’m concerned, the ideal mix is 50-50 Labrador and Dane, otherwise known as a Labradane. Unfortunately, in spite of all my searching for one I’ve never been able to get what I want. On personalities, Danes are a little bit more reserved than Labs, but often wonderfully goofy, tremendously loyal and loving, and immensely, fundamentally decent animals. If one combines a Lab and a Dane, one gets a good chance of having all of the Dane’s favorable features plus another two or three years of life span from the lab.
Right now my current dog is half American Bull Dog 1/4 American Staffordshire Terrier, a bit German Shepherd, and the rest anybody’s guess. Some here would recoil in horror and call him a “Pit Bull.” He’s an excellent, loyal, and mostly friendly dog, with particularly good watchdog talents. At 88 pounds he’s not something for someone to mess with.
No. (clicks link)
Looks like a dog.
People tell me how tough their dogs are.
Nothing a good handgun doesn’t sort out shortly.
