One of the surprises in the weeks since October 7 is that two of the clearest voices on the matter are Bill and Hillary Clinton. To be sure, there is a personal reason behind this: Bill Clinton in particular resents Yasser Arafat for refusing to take the highly generous two-state deal Clinton helped broker at great length back in 1999 and 2000. Clinton managed to get Israel to agree to massive concessions, which Clinton describes in the short clip below (where it sounds like he is standing up to a pro-Hamas heckler): “I had a deal they turned down that would have given them all of Gaza… between 96 and 97% of the West Bank, compensating land in Israel, you name it.”

It has long been rumored that Clinton curses Arafat for costing him (Clinton) a certain Nobel Peace Prize and a more substantial presidential lagacy if the deal had gone through. Instead Arafat launched the second Intifada. I suspect Israel may have offered such sweeping concessions to call Arafat’s bluff.
For all of his political skill, Clinton didn’t understand why Arafat couldn’t take this deal—or any deal with Israel—quite aside from pure Jew-hatred: If Arafat had made a deal with Israel, he would have been assassinated, just as Anwar Sadat was killed for making peace with Israel. This is why there can never be a two-state solution. The most radical Islamists don’t want it. We ought to take them seriously when they say “To the river to the sea.” There is never going to be a two-state solution, but not because Israel won’t agree to it.

Tolerance extends to imposing taxation on nonmuslims that accept subservience. This occurs when muslims reach a majority. Some groups such as Jews will not even be extended the grace of living as tax-paying vassals.
Therefore…no one-state solution, either.
One of the very few good things that Clinton did, along with having a budget surplus for a couple years. I can’t think of much else.
History shows that Islam can’t coexist with Islam. Each sect thinks the others aren’t following true Islam so they have to destroy it.

There was no budget surplus. It was BS accounting (SS fund’s surplus listed into the general fund) and massive sales of short term T bills at lower interest rates.....which all went away when the T bills were redeemed and refinanced at higher rates after Clinton left office.
There will eventually be a two state solution or the one state left will be Palestinian. Every year the Arabs get stronger relative to Israel. If the Israelis think America will always be there for them, they’re wrong. The U.S. is rapidly losing power and credibility relative to the rest of the world. The U.S. is barely there for American citizens let alone the rest of the world. Israel and Taiwan should pay attention to what happens to Ukraine and plan accordingly.

In my humble opinion, none of this is difficult to understand. How can a two-state solution be rational when one party has sworn to annihilate the other? When people realize that what is going on is Biblical, maybe then they will get to the ‘why’ it’s happening. Until then most commentators play word games, not wanting to acknowledge the evils of Allah’s Quranic mandates to the Muslim faithful.
They will not settle for anything, but total annihilation of Israel.
Anything else they agree to is just temporal strategical concession.
Land for peace or two state solution is just wishful thinking of some idealistic lefties.
Islam is the ideology of conquest. Tn their earlier conquests they wrote the book on slavery.
The flow of people through our Southern border has made us a nation of invasion. This invasion will cost the nation $650 billion and impact our national debt; making the ability to mount a military action an economic nation breaker. The clock is ticking.
