Let’s hope that Joe Biden has some sense and that all of this talk about bringing back the draft turns out to be nothing at all. Because bringing back the draft would tear our nation apart. Most young Americans definitely do not want to go to war, and I believe that resistance to a draft would far exceed anything that we witnessed during the 1960s and 1970s. But our politicians have been talking about implementing a draft anyway, because we could soon find ourselves fighting multiple wars simultaneously.

You may not have noticed the massive powers “emergency orders” gave them during covid. And he declares a national emergency, who’s gonna stop him? The courts that rubber stamped the coup? The Congress that votes for every Ukraine and aid and spending package he asks for? The Republicans who want open borders, war with Russia, and more spending gonna stop him?
They will do it. They have just spent 6 months on the preparatory bombardment. They will introduce it was “limited”, with alternatives to work in Baltimore ghetto clinics or something. They want it as another step in them dominating people’s lives.
And idiots here will cheer it because they think it’ll straighten out those young radicals we dislike. Somehow todays woke military is going to fix that.

Or they could look at the actual history of men drafted into the military, that would tell a positive story.
Today, if the draft were used by the American military of the past, it would improve the military, but that isn’t how it would be used today.
I would merely add that I think this great Nation is worth fighting for, but the government? They have to be shitting me. No way in hell is my government worth fighting and dying for now.

Biden won’t bring back the draft unless he can draft women.
As the courts ruled. And now the government is trying to back peddle saying "we did not tell you to do that!" Of course they did but they had no authority to force you to comply.
You need to face reality and turn off your tv. You are becoming excessively credulous.
Congress is who would have to bring back the draft. Not Joe, not "the military" as was stupidly asserted back a month or so ago. Congress. Both House and Senate.
No "emergency powers" can change that.

Involuntary servitude has nothing to do with pay. It’s the government demanding that “this is where you work now and you have no choice”.
In a world driven by DEI, I think we can all imagine how “selective” will be applied in a selective service draft.

It would take a big event to get Americans to put up with a draft. Like seeing a big US Carrier roll over and sink after a swarm of rockets take her down. Seeing 2,000 Americans die in a few moments would do the trick. It would need to be like 9-11 or Oct. 7 but it could happen.
If the USA loses a bunch of carriers, the US dollar will crash, and so will the DC Globohomo Regimes.
For the draftee army - the USA doesn’t have the manufacturing capacity to even make uniforms and boots for a draftee army. (98% of footwear is imported)
Step one - order boots from China.
