I have a hard time believing this.

MAGA people don’t seem like Kennedy people.

I know several bat*** crazy dems who of course hate Trump, but have always loved the Kennedy family.

I believe their minds are now in the process of changing to declare RFK Jr. a traitor and heretic.

MAGA voters tend to be against Trump's clot shot, something Trump hasn't figured out yet while RFK Jr. has.

Don't be too sure.

I voted for Trump twice. It's very early and no way to know how events will unfold between now and and a year from now.

My best guess at the moment is that neither Trump or Biden will be on the ballots. Just an early guess.

Several very important issues...

-Out of control spending
-Getting us out of another boondoggle of a war
-Standing up to the lunatic COVID disaster and pharma

In any event, I've never voted for a dem in my life, but I could support RFK Jr.

Well, yes, the regime excels at getting people who love the nation to hate one another over political questions.

But, if we don't remove the regime nothing else matters, it seems counterproductive to be revving up hatred for people who, having different political opinions, still want to save the country.

As do I. Biden is very popular with old-school Democrats. It’s the name recognition thing. I would think that the same is true with Kennedy.

But what Republican is in awe of the name “Kennedy”? And what could RFK Jr offer to Republicans that Trump can’t?

A couple of things to think about.

The Democratic Party has totally rigged the primary making it impossible for Kennedy to win, for example the DNC has ruled that any delegates won in Iowa and New Hampshire are not going to be allowed to vote at the convention, the DNC wants to start the primary process in South Carolina, Iowa and NH have refused to go along.

Biden has refused to provide secret service protection for Kennedy, one insane person has already showed up at one of his rallies with a gun, he was stopped by security that Kennedy has to pay for which is very expensive.

Kennedy’s only chance is to run as an independent and he knows that.

I would say, the average Democrat is much more likely to believe in the Establishment Covid Narrative, providing weapons to Ukraine, open borders, etc.

Kennedy has come out against many of the stances of the DNC and the average Democrat.

Republicans are much more likely support some of those key positions than Democrats.

MAGA doesn’t make up 100% of the Republican Party, Trump doesn’t have 100% support of Republicans, Trump has incredibly high support among Republicans approximately 60%, the remaining 40% are key targets for Kennedy.

I think a lot of the 40% will give Kennedy a serious look.

Just going by comments here, many who probably support MAGA won’t vote for Trump.

I liked JFK in the beginning. After his death and all the garbage that came out about him and his sexual escapades, even in the WH (I.E. great example for another Dimocommie, Slick Willie Klinton), I lost any good feelings I had for the guy. I was most positive for his WWII military service in the PT boats. But his fooling around in the WH with MM was just like Klinton. These people just never seem to learn.

I do believe it because...
1. RFK, Jr., is known to GOP-leaning voters through his frequent, cordial appearances on Fox News, Tucker Carlson, etc.
2. RFK’s anti-vax, anti-Fauci views dovetail with the views of many on the right.
3. Our voters are more independent-minded and anti-establishment than the other side. An iconoclast like RFK is going to appeal to some of them.
4. Their voters are mainly brainwashed idiots who dutifully vote for the “D” hell or high water. Hell, if they’ll vote for Fetterman, they’ll vote for anyone or anything.

Maga people do not make up the whole republican party. There are those who choose to go picky and don’t like this or that about Trump.. Not smart enough to know the picky does not compare to saving our country!

I had figured those picky people might jump ship to Kennedy.

I call them young.. Don’t have wisdom.. Think off top of hat.. And ignorant to what is going on.

No but he can steal enough votes from the middle-of-the-road people like Perot did to make the difference.

MAGA people are only about 25% of the elecorate.

RFK Jr Taps directly into that anti-ukraine, antivax, Bernie bro to Trump 2016 voter demographic

You’d be surprised how many newer Trump voters would take RFK as second choice because of some anti-establishment/anti-vax soundbites

“MAGA people don’t seem like Kennedy people.”

Nah, but the salty crackers in the Republican party who can’t stand the base picking the nominee will probably go vote for him.

No, but a lot of independents that might have held their nose and voted for Trump because of their dislike for Biden, would vote for RFK jr. with no qualms. Remember we here exist in a bubble when it comes to the love of Trump. He is not that exalted in the world outside of FR. If it’s between the ruination of more Biden vs the circus that is Trump many might go for DJT. But if you give them a reasonable third choice many will take it. Also, it’s been proven over the years that democrats have a pretty solid 40-43% political floor. Those people just pull the “D” lever.
