Pro-Trump attorney Lin Wood to be prosecution witness in Georgia election case, DA says

The Fulton County district attorney's office has secured pro-Trump attorney Lin Wood as a witness in its Georgia election interference case against former President Donald Trump and 18 others, according to a court filing Wednesday.

Wood, however, said in social media posts Wednesday night that he has not "flipped" on the former president despite being subpoenaed as a prosecution witness.

"I have NO knowledge of TRUTH that can be used in any way against President Trump ... I support President Trump 117%!!!" he wrote in a post on his Telegram channel.

According to Wednesday's court filing, other witnesses for the state include Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, former Georgia Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan, members of the State Election Board, and members of the Georgia General Assembly.

Trump and 18 others were charged in a sweeping racketeering indictment for alleged efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in the state of Georgia. The former president says his actions were not illegal and that the investigation is politically motivated.

Process is the punishment.

Since he is a witness, he himself probabdly is being forced to pay for representation.

“Hostile witness” in this context would be ‘hostile to the prosecution.’ Wood says he still supports Trump.

Whatever his beliefs, him and others screeching about high tech manipulation of the election was a red herring that distracted many from what was a simple ballot stuffing operation.

The guy has multiple personalities, so you can’t be sure of anything he says.

Cross examination of Raffensburger could be interesting. He has skeletons in his closet.

He came to the notice of most of us with the Nick Sandman representation. He won for that young man a just compensation for his annoyance. He also initially represented Rittenhouse but they soon parted ways, I believe because Rittenhouse needed a criminal attorney.

Lin Wood is only pro-Lin Wood. If the prosecution uses him, I am sure there will be a lot of evidence that Lin will say anything to anyone for money.

Lin Wood helped the Left a lot after the 2020 election along with Sydney Powell by distracting from well founded accusations of election rigging with their wild unfounded accusations of election rigging. They made an easy target for debunking because they said so much stupid stuff.

Don't trust the guy. Also he did a cruddy job as Kyle Rittenhouse's lawyer before he got fired and replaced by somebody who really cared about defending the kid.

“Remember when America had attorney client privilage?”

America still does, as long as it’s Democrats being prosecuted and persecuted.

Whatever his beliefs, [him] and others screeching about high tech manipulation of the election was a red herring that distracted many from what was a simple ballot stuffing operation.

Changing ZIP codes b4 election to create bad addresses for the PO to gather ballots from as spare ballots is hardly 'hi-tech'.

Utilizing the National Preeminent Emergency Cellular Network to get past the 'no connection' zone of the tabulators IS hi-tech. (calling USB thumb drive a 'ginger snap')

Both are available for next election.
