Odd that so many Indians come here and do sure seem to be very uppity. Like, bro, we know...
Thanks for introducing me to a new word.
Uh huh - right along with the millions of dirty, unwanted American children who would be killed over a penny.
Not sure where you live - are you even here in America?
If there ever is a real threat from a virus, nobody will believe it after all the lies we have been told.
‘How sick that a small group of people is using the death of people, the destruction of the world as a game.’
this ‘game’ has been played since human beings first gathered in groups for safety; and will continue to be played until the sun swallows the earth and nobody will be around to be corrupt..
A friend played that album so often that I’m past Charon about ever hearing it again.
There was a pun too, but that was the easy part.
Yeah, I kinda lump them in with Foreigner, Journey, REO Speedwagon, and to a lesser degree, Kansas. We were kinda slaves to Top 40 Radio and friends’ record collections, back then. I remember counting the days for a Stones. Who, Floyd, Queen....album to drop.
2 have died! I almost passed out at such a huge number.
At least none of them were Michael Jackson or rap.
I remember being introduced to Rap in grade 9 or 10 by Mark Roesencrantz—I hear he is back in the Bay Area practicing law.
Your welcome. I used it in a lecture yesterday. If you look the phrase up you ought to find C.S. Lewis’ Mere Christianity as an example, although I could give many more.
My senior prom’s theme, for reasons that elude me still, was “Come Sail Away”.
I assume the person who chose it never listened to lyrics.
If I’m going to go to an alien abduction themed prom, at least pick BOC’s “Take Me Away”.
The only upside was that I’d just read Interview With The Vampire and my boyfriend and I had our own “theme” going for that prom, blowing minds without mercy.
The smart (and dark) daughter on “Rosanne” had a line: ”The only way I’m going to the Prom is if I can sit in the rafters with a bucket of pig’s blood.”

September’s outbreak of the killer bat-borne infection - India’s sixth - began and ended in just a week.
