There was never a question. New Mexico is well-named, and has been liberal as long as I have been an adult.
They shouldn’t have taken that left turn in Albuquerque.
Pretty soon you won’t be able to tell the difference between New Mexico and “Old” Mexico.
All the people who went along with the restrictions instituted under the covid scamademic are directly responsible for this. If you grant the government unlimited power under a 'health emergency', they'll continually find and declare 'emergencies' for eternity. The feral government in washington has been ruling under a state of 'emergency' since the 30s.
That would just be compounding one problem with another.

Not anyone I know around here. Not only not complying, but flaunting the non-compliance. Here's my theory; since only the NMSP can enforce this, they'll be running tags to ID CC permit holders and then pull them over for a minor infraction. Then they'll use probable cause of being a permit holder to search the vehicle. It's a misdemeanor, but it's still a hassle. But I'm of the opinion we should just all group somewhere and force them to cite us. Then we jam up the courts and have a full-on class-action lawsuit directly against her.
I had two nephews on the NMSP for a while. They hated Mickey Mouse crap like this.
How much you wanna bet when they catch the perp, we'll find a history of multiple arrests and very little if any time ever served.
Ranges are private property (except the Albuquerque city range) and not subject to this infringement. Bernalillo County has long banned shooting unless on private ranges or the Albuquerque City range. No shooting in open areas. It's a small-ish county that is heavily populated.
I hope they just drag their feet and do nothing. What I really wish they'd do is arrest the dictatorial little witch and charge her with deprivation of rights under the color of law.
I doubt they’ll look for trouble. As far as MLG, I hope she’s slapped down hard, but as with all Democrat Darlings no real consequences.
To all out of town travelers
entering Albuquerque;
Please check your guns in to
your nearest sherrifs office.
You can pick them up when you
leave.
Dodge City, circa 1865.
Our dear Governor has been
watching Gunsmoke again.
Just wait until someone who could’ve had a gun to protect themselves gets shot in Karen’s 30 day gun free zone!
The contingency lawyers are salivating and baring their teeth at the door of this opportunity...
