Week 1 of college football started with a bang. We got our first major upset of the season as the Colorado Buffaloes took down the No. 17 TCU Horned Frogs. A first-year head coach with a completely new roster toppled last year’s Natty runners-up in a 45-42 shootout, signaling one thing: Saturdays are back, baby!
So leave it to Jemele Hill to throw a wet blanket over all of the excitement.
The former ESPN host took to X Saturday to do what she does best: cry racism.
“Really interesting listening to some of the commentary around this Colorado-TCU game,” Hill wrote. “Lot of coded stuff.”

Have she and joyless Reid ever been seen in the same room together?!
Jemele would find racism 2500 leagues under the sea!
“Why does Disney always make the Sea Urchins black?”
If Jemele would adjust her negative attitude and change that Mugg-Whomp facial expression, she would not be that bad looking.
“We do things that have never been done and that makes people uncomfortable,” he said. “When you see a confident Black man sitting up here talking his talk, walking his walk, coaching 75 percent African Americans in the locker room, that’s kind of threatening. Oh, they don’t like that? Guess what? We’re going to consistently do what we do, because I’m here and ain’t going nowhere.”
That quote above came from Deion’s postgame interview. It looks like the only one who mentioned anything about race was Coach Sanders himself. Go shuffle your deck of race cards somewhere else Jemele.
Ain’t Affirmative Action wonderful.
Jemele Hill’s a race whore and this is to be expected. I’m sad that Deion had to bring up race in the post interview. Makes me not want to root for him.
You just need a coding course to figure it... It's called 'I see racist everywhere'.
The Africans have begun finding racism everywhere. If I were them, I’d take my ass back to Africa where there is no racism.
As long as there is money to be made in doing so, it will continue.
That’s what this is all about. Money, money, money.
What did he say?
It’s all about the Benjamins!
One thing Deion said was that he doesn’t consider himself a Nole, since he graduated from an HBCU.
Ugly inside and out
I was rooting FOR him until he played the black victim card.
“new black coach....75% black roster...didn’t believe we could do it.” etc.
boool-sheeeet
He's still a Nole even if he didn't graduate from there.
Looks like Deion’s statement pumped up the Noles tonight.
He probably didn't know better. The only Black person who knew better was Clarence Thomas.
But we're tolerating all of this.
He was a Nole at FSU for only half his college career, which makes him a Seminole.
As any musician can tell you, if you only go for one year, you’re a demiseminole. One semester, a hemidemiseminole. It’s difficult for some to keep up with that, makes them quaver.
