Burchett has become increasingly outspoken about UFOs in recent months.
Appearing on Newsmax on Saturday, Burchett said military intelligence “is like congressional ethics [and that] it just doesn’t exist.”
“I do 100% [believe the U.S government is covering up] since 1947 Roswell, [Mexico]… the military said we’ve recovered a saucer and then the next day they dropped this poor officer out and claim he holds up a piece of a hot air balloon and says, ‘No in fact it was a hot air balloon,’ which apparently was a top secret program at the time and they’ve never would have disclosed it in any way,” Burchett continued.
During a recent appearance on NewsNation, Burchett made similar claims, implying that the government is hiding information about aliens because they believe that the American public can’t handle it.
“We’ve been covering this up since the 40s,” Burchett recently told NewsNation and added that he doesn’t “trust [the] government, [and] there’s an arrogance about it, and I think the American public can handle it.”
Burchett tweeted a clip of the interview and wrote, “witnesses will be brought in and we will hold hearings on UAPs. It’s time. The American people can handle it.”

if they are real my bet is that the moment we started doing nuclear reactions in the lab is the moment we gained notice. On December 2, 1942, the world’s first self-sustaining, controlled nuclear chain reaction took place.
looking at that nuclear reaction as the starting point I would calculate out the speed of light and then look at all the star systems. within the range of the time light travels across the universe and the date of a downed UFO to get a location for the alien race.
My bet is that getting here is difficult and whatever crashed could of been a robotic probe deployed when the nuclear reaction was detected.
After that 1947 date I would guess that eventually something more then a probe showed up.... of course, this all is said with the idea that it is real and did happen. seeing how all of this is over 75 years ago during the cold war I can only guess if any of the crashed UFO story is real.
It was a balloon, nothing more—that crap.
Cool story
(It was a balloon, nothing more)
You don’t know that!
Roswell is a neat place to visit.
Beautiful art museum. My kids loved it.
The Alien museum was a quick stop.
The Bottomless Lake was a blast.
Make sure to day-trip down to Carlsbad Caverns. Magnificent and worth every penny.
Yes, UFOs. The ridiculous Deep State distraction to obscure corruption. 40 years and still going strong.
Ping.

There’s no doubt that the balloon crashed and Major Marcel and his son, destined to become the flight surgeon Dr Jesse Marcel Jr, looked at the debris on their kitchen table (or so Dr Marcel said).
20+ years later the retired Lt Colonel Marcel characterized that debris as an alien artifact when talking to ufologist Stanton Friedman.
It’s uncertain what role alcohol may have had in that conversation, but it is true that Dr Jesse Marcel Jr mentioned to me that his father had an alcohol problem at that time.
I’ve been to Carlsbad Caverns three different times since the early 70’s. It’s a geological paradise.
You’re referring to the metallic like debris that when Marcel wadded it up in his hand it returned to its original form? Also he said you couldn’t scratch it or cut it.
Book mark.
More fantasy bulls*** from the MSM to distract from Biden corruption, rampant crime, lawfare against Republicans, economy going in the tank because of Democrat policies, etc.
In order to believe that alien artifacts exist you need to believe that the government of every country in the world where they have crashed has been collaborating to keep them secret.
You also need to believe that the US government, which arguably knew about the aliens at least since 1947, conducted a nuclear cold war with the Soviet Union, and made no effort to use the supposed knowledge of aliens in its international diplomacy. I lived through the Cuban missile crisis, and I know that knowledge of an alien invasion of earth would definitely have come up during that life and death situation.
So I think the alternative explanation that someone who drank a bit too much in his retirement had an overactive imagination is a bit more plausible.
Anyway, thanks to Jesse Marcel, and his son Jesse Marcel Jr, for their lifetime careers of service to our country. May they both rest in peace.
In related news, Tim Burchette partners with lawyer investment group with plans to open series of Alien Themed restaurants in and around Roswell aptly named Restaurant at the Edge of the Universe Cantina Steakhouse.
I really doubt any of that is true, but it has been good for business in Roswell.
If you are a cavern person, you will want to see:
Cumberland Caverns in Tennessee
Natural Bridge Caverns in San Antonio
Hidden Lake Cavern in Kentucky
Silver Dollar City Caverns in Branson
Been to all of them; enjoyed all of them. We road-tripped all over the US when the kids were young.
But without a doubt, Carlsbad tops them all.
But how do you explain the local newspaper saying a flying disc had crashed? Who reported that? Marcel wasn’t even involved with the local paper reporting it.
for some years (until his death) a first-hand witness who handled the roswell material was a freeper. he never made outlandish claims, but was quite specific that what his father brought home for him to see one night was like nothing he had ever seen in the rest of his life - and in later life he had been shown physical examples of most or all of the suggested weather balloons etc that what he saw was supposed to be.
I wish he were still here.
