Rachel Maddow Openly Admits Trump Indictment Is Solution to Stop Him Becoming President Leftist MSNBC host Rachel Maddow openly admitted that Thursday’s indictment against former president Donald Trump was a “political solution” to stop him from returning to the White House.
She said the quiet part out loud.
The clip of what Maddow said has since gone viral.
Many also recognized Maddow’s comparison to the 1970s case of Vice President Spiro Agnew as a dog whistle for election interference.
Meanwhile, Trump is trouncing Biden in a head-to-head, while RINO Governor Ron DeSantis continues to struggle.
“You have to wonder if the Justice Department is considering whether there is some political solution to this criminal problem,” Rachel Maddow told Lawrence O’Donnell on MSNBC on the Trump indictment
“Whether part of the issue here is not just that Trump has committed crimes, but that Trump has committed crimes and plans on being back in the White House,” she said.
“Do they consider as part of a potential plea offer, something that would proscribe him… proscribe him from running for office again? I don’t know.”
In simpler terms, if Trump agrees to bow out of the 2024 race, the charges will magically disappear.

On Thursday, Trump released a video proclaiming, “I am an innocent man.”
The charges listed include an Espionage Act charge, several Obstruction charges, False Statement charges, and a Conspiracy charge.
The Trump War Room account captioned the post:
“I am an innocent man,” Trump began referring to the indictment.
“The Biden administration is totally corrupt. This is election interference & a continuation of the greatest witch hunt of all time. Make America Great Again!!!” Trump said.
America elected Trump — and that makes him a threat to democracy.
Nothing prevents him running again.
He’s getting my vote. At this point, all the rest combined are not better than him.
