Wendy’s Begins Replacing Workers with Artificial Intelligence – America’s Workforce is in Big Trouble

In a development straight out of a dystopian sci-fi thriller, fast food giant Wendy’s has embarked on a chilling experiment, replacing its drive-through order takers with an AI chatbot powered by Google software. This technological takeover aims to streamline the ordering process by training the AI to understand customer requests and decrease waiting times at the drive-throughs.

According to reports from the Wall Street Journal, Wendy’s is set to launch this eerie transformation in its home state of Ohio, starting with locations in Columbus. The company plans to implement the change in June, all in the name of shorter lines and faster service, as declared by Chief Executive Todd Penegor.

Automated trespass warnings will be given, the cops will automatically be called and what’s better is that the idiot won’t be able to scream about racism to get out of it. The automated system does not care what race you are. :P

Part of the reason for the Great Depression was automation of farming. There was plenty of food, but the jobless didn't have the wages to purchase.

Large Language Models--which is what we are talking about when we talk about AI at the moment--specialize in doing just that.

LLM's see everything as "language"...images, math, communication, music. That's how AI creates so-called art and music, including vocals.

They can consume gargantuan amounts of data at, well, the speed of electricity (which is the speed of light adjusted for conductor resistance).
