I just read the Cal Thomas column on Townhall.com. You think CNN has problems? Thomas is supposedly one of us.
Trump can say he’d end the Ukraine conflict in 24 hours. What’s wrong with that? I remember in ‘68 Nixon said he’s end the war. Front page headline. The statement alone helped him get elected.
Right now the war is between Ukraine and Russia. Nothing says he can’t step in on behalf of both countries, not the US. When they get tired of dying I could see them both turning to Trump in an insistent manner. It’s the deep state, not just Biden that has a problem with this out-of-the-box solution.
