Most stargazers, agents, movie execs will not recognize someone with a mental disorder from snippets of play acting scenes. If the moguls wanted to keep their investments producing they should have been watching their stars mental condition....
From what I have read, the Beatles song, “Dr. Roberts” is a tune describing their assigned doctor, who kept them in line.

Stevens was doomed from a young age. She ran away at 15 to be in show business. Had a failed marriage. Married a black actor - Ike Jones - and hid it from everyone except her brother and perhaps her parents to protect her career.

What makes these 2 so special that they get their own news?

Because they were good looking?

Is it not the same if someone is fat and ugly?

God looks at the heart, not the face or your bank account. or your trophies.

I fell in love with Inger Stevens by watching the Twilight Zone episode “the Hitchhiker.”

Inger was emotionally fragile. Fell in love with every leading man she worked with. That’s a lot of ups and downs.

And I second that notion on The Hitchhiker. Brilliant.

Indeed. Have you heard the radio play originating on the Orson Wells show in about 1941?

Walter Matthau? I am dubious. I can't find anything to indicate that.

Did not know (or remember) that Inger was in a relationship with Burt Reynolds and they had a fight the night she died. (I believe she was married, secretly, to Ike Jones at the time. Maybe she told him about Ike & her ?)

I could name several others - Capucine, Romy Schneider, Jean Seberg, Olga Georges-Picot.... all beautiful actresses who committed suicicde. Perhaps it’s the fading of beauty? Or simply the sadnesses of life.
