...When the VIP event was done, we had a half hour in the schedule for me to interview Tucker for an upcoming issue of Thinking Minnesota. His answers to my questions were breathtakingly candid. Several times I thought to myself, “Did he really just say that?”... At the same time, I could see that there was no sign of a speech tucked into his coat pocket. I began to worry about whether he had actually prepared a speech for our event. So I asked what he intended to talk about. “Oh, mostly just some recent developments in Washington,” he answered.
Soon thereafter the dinner got underway, and Tucker took the podium, still with no script in sight. He started talking off the cuff and gave one of the best speeches I have ever heard, reflecting meticulous preparation and well thought-out ideas. His theme, copiously illustrated, was that our country is under attack by the Left on a number of fronts, we conservatives are backed up against a wall, and we have no alternative but to fight.
Tucker seems to me to represent the MAGA philosophy in its best form. Together with Donald Trump, Carlson was instrumental in making conservatism the philosophy of the common man. His exposure of the machinations of our so-called “elites” has been relentless. We live in an emperor’s new clothes world, and Tucker, more than anyone else, fearlessly pointed out the shortcomings and outright frauds perpetrated by those who claim to be our betters...

Interesting idea.
I have no clue whether he is at all interested in holding public office. He’s certainly bright enough to perform the job well. Then again, being truly qualified is a disqualifier in some races!
I would think TC is too principled to be good at being a politician.
Mre. teletech and I watched the entire speech. Tucker was funny, inciteful and common sense all the way through. A terrific speech!

Interesting about where he was broadcasting from. Maine in the summer and Florida in the winter.
Carlson was great long before Fox hired him.
They were fortunate to have him.
Tucker was a great interviewer where he showed deference, interest and respect for interviewee. Others on faux have an ego that makes them want to dominate conversation and over talk guest. I rarely enjoy the interaction.

How extremely rude, thoughtless and even cruel of Hinderaker to reveal Tucker’s home in such detail, knowing that Tucker had to move out of DC due to harassment against his home, wife and children by mobs of leftists.
Agreed, however, he will make one Hell of a great leader, one that might just help President Trump unite Conservatives!
Besides inciting emotions, he can also be very insightful.

I’m so discombobulated by his firing. We recorded his show and watched it during dinner every night. It was our thing for the last 6 yrs. It’s so weird that we won’t be doing that anymore.
I hope he finds his place soon because we need his insight and ability to reduce the problems of the day into something simpler so the masses can understand it. Except going forward he hopefully won’t be as limited as he’s been at Fox.
And Fox News is officially dead to me.
Hinderaker is a never-Trump quisling. Powerline became too disgusting to visit because of the underlying disdain for Trump supporters, and that was after Paul left.
Hinderaker needs to re-assess his antagonism toward Trump, and apologize for his implicit insulting behavior toward Trump supporters.
Re # 15: Hinderaker is a despicable quisling. I cannot fathom why his slimy opinions about anything are so faithfully linked at FR.
