Dazed and Confused Fetterman Returns to Capitol Hill After 2-Month Absence Looking Like a Slob (VIDEO)

Democrat Senator John Fetterman (PA) on Monday returned to Capitol Hill looking disheveled and confused after a prolonged absence during which he received treatment for severe depression.

Fetterman, 53, spent two months at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center receiving treatment for clinical depression.

The dazed and confused Senator looked like a slob as he arrived to Capitol Hill.

Yep. Awhile back I read an article about the fall of the Roman Empire. The author listed all the usual reasons. Then he added one of his own.

What he is wearing is a security blanket. He is probably unable to dress himself easily and the shorts and sweatshirt are simply pulled on.

It is a soothing, familiar outfit. I have seen this occur in nursing home residents with dementia. Some of the elderly women carry dolls in their arms all day, while the men have a shirt or even slippers they must wear.

I’ll field that one. In no particular order:

1. Democrat cheating.

2. Excellent campaign ads by Fetterman’s team. They painted him as an active and concerned Pennsylvanian, they kind of guy who’d make a great next-door neighbor. If you didn’t read sites like Free Republic, you’d probably believe that.

3. Dr. Oz. He was the GOP candidate. Oz was simply a bad fit for PA: he’s a smarmy Hollywood millionaire outsider. Not quite the guy Joe Six-Pack would be motivated to support.

Oh, and Oz’s campaign ads were terrible. They had him wearing a hard hat, and wandering around a PA factory like he was lost. Which he probably was.

Is the press asleep or stupid. No mention has been made that Fetterman has had his Lipoma removed. Maybe that is why he was so quiet lately, he was waiting for the incision to heal. There must be at least a four inch scar left on the back of his neck.

I had a lipoma removed from my chest a year ago. I still have a scar, even with using the dermatologist's scar-removal tape. She did warn me it wouldn't go away 100%.
