The left doesn’t understand the need for moderation. A little bit works, so the whole hog works even better, in their minds.
I think that is basically what happened to the banking sector. They extended themselves so far out that they couldn’t cover a minute number of loans if a fraction of customers went at once to get their money.

Fiat currency, excessive spending and debt, and handing out free money at little to no costs to “pump” the market.
