Bud Light is back-peddling on their decision to partner with transgender media personality Dylan Mulvaney. Anheuser Busch’s decision to promote the trans influencer has been faced with severe backlash. Reports are now surfacing that “no one at the senior level” gave the green light for their new marketing campaign.
According to two sources familiar with the matter, The Daily Wire reported that the decision to feature Mulvaney in an advertising campaign aimed at younger customers was not authorized by any high-ranking executives in the company.
“No one at a senior level was aware this was happening,” one anonymous source said. “Some low-level marketing staffer who helps manage the hundreds of influencer engagements they do must have thought it was no big deal. Obviously it was, and it’s a shame because they have a well-earned reputation for just being America’s beer — not a political company. It was a mistake.”
According to the Daily Wire, “the company was likely going to implement a more ‘robust’ process for evaluating controversial figures in the future to avoid another public relations nightmare. The claim that a lower level employee was allegedly behind the Mulvaney campaign comes after two female vice presidents at the company had previously championed inclusivity at the company.”
The company has now reportedly put a “pause”on the campaign.

Are you with the company? https://nypost.com/2023/04/12/anheuser-busch-down-5b-in-value-amid-dylan-mulvaney-bud-light-controversy/
They are down about $2.50/per share or 3% in the last two weeks while both the Dow Jones and S&P 500 have increased.
There are peoplle in the Exec suits that are not too happy right now. Whether that recages their gyros remains to be seen,
Their stock was up almost a buck today, which means there has been no significant loss.
Not with the company. Look at the 1 month (or longer) period chart, for reference.

In USA:

Anheuser-Busch has not made a significant move.
LOL I’ll purposely order one item at a time, to increase the shipping. But Amazon is no longer the cheapest, I’m finding lots of other places to order things from and get better prices. They thought once they had people hooked they could increase prices, and nobody would notice.
So you’re saying the 8 billion dollar loss they’re reporting on value is incorrect?
She is so full of herself...wait until she learns she is “low level.” That’ll take some of the wind out of her sails.
See my reply #44
As many companies’ stocks have been moving, up and down, in billions of dollars over the last few years, nothing yet significant for Anheuser-Busch.
I won’t believe any of this until they fire the woke VP of marketing and get rid of DIE.
Not holding my breath.
They will implement a “more ‘robust’ process for evaluating controversial figures in the future “
Yeah, but that idiot VP didn’t think it would be controversial. Are they going to form a committee to determine who will be a controversial figure? If the company is full of wokesters, not one of them would have found that oddball guy “controversial.” He is mainstream in their world.
Too little, too late.
“Belgian monks make excellent beers.”
Back in the ‘70s, there were some monks or priests around Wasilla, AK, that made milk wine. Eeewwww. I can’t even imagine!
Bud Light VP Alissa Heinerscheid is being thrown under the bus by corporate higher ups who of course deny any knowledge of using Tranny Mulvaney as a spokesperson. The higher ups either knew or were at least somewhat aware of the Bud Lite VP’s decision to hire the tranny, but either said nothing for fear of being labeled a bigot homophobe or agreed to follow the policy of wokeness. Corporate leadership now has a dilemma if they fire Heinerscheid to satisfy stockholders and work to regain their market they will certainly be labeled homophobes and denounced by the LBQT etc cabal.
“Reports are now surfacing that “no one at the senior level” gave the green light for their new marketing campaign.”
Hello! Even I, someone with only a 9th grade edumacashun knows that’s a mighty big load of cow patties. I learned young that even bosses have bosses and no one breaks wind without the bosses permission. More than one person higher than the wünderkind VP gave the ok for the tranny ad campaign and now that it’s shown to have the flight potential of a lead balloon someone is in CMA mode.
The silly VP and her boss need to be shown the door for cause. More than one level of management needs to feel the whip.
And what in the wide wide world of sports makes anyone at AB-InBev think all of us are as stupid as f’n Joe Biden?
I forgot, f’n Joe Biden.
May it be a permanent “pause”
I promise, if they don't do that soon, they're fried and will all lose their jobs at the higher levels when big shareholders demand changes. That is the ONLY way out of this mess.
As a woman, might I opine that putting a couple of women in charge of marketing a piss poor beer that depends on brand loyalty of hard working men was an awful mistake? Factory and construction workers just want to pick up their paycheck and beer on Friday afternoon without being lectured by “Karens” about their “toxic masculinity”, or told that a 26 year old man is much the same as their 13 year old daughter.
Such a shame. They’ve spent SO much “bud money” to help marginalize natural women. Those with intact morals will never go back.
I don’t drink Bud Light, so I shouldn’t care. The constant drumbeat of having this agenda shoved down our throats is annoying, but really bothers me is this: my wife is truly outstanding, with great achievements educationally, professionally, in charitable causes, as a mother and as a woman of faith. Bud Light would never think about putting her face on a can in 1000 years (not that she drinks beer anyway), but some little sissy on the Internet decides he’s a girl, and boom, his face is on Bud Light cans because he’s such a model of womanhood.
Too late; the Clydesdales have jumped the gate and left the stable.
