Instead of my earlier idea of an on-line Jeopardy style tournament, I am rolling out this Never Ending Quiz.
The rules and format are simple. I will start by posting a question (at the end of this post). First correct answer gets a +1 and the right to post a question. If you post an answer, and you are the first to post the correct one, I will alert you to post the next question. If you do post one, you should be prepared to check for answers within 5-10 minutes.
This format will allow people to participate for as long or as short a time as they wish.
YOU KEEP YOUR OWN SCORE over time, but as thread moderator I will periodically check in and post ongoing score totals.
If two people have a dispute about an answer being correct, PM me and I will be the arbitrator of any disputes.
This format can devolve into parallel exchanges where more than one question is "alive" for answering. This is okay in small amounts but try to observe a protocol of not posting a question if a previous answer has not yet been validated.
If you (or I) know that an answer is right or wrong, and can supply proof, in the apparent absence of the question poser (defined as no appearance within 10 minutes) then post to clarify the status (then a right answer poster can move to the next question, a wrong answer poster's question on faulty assumption of right to post will not be valid for scoring points.
I will attempt to moderate the thread as often as needed which may turn out to be often, seldom or never.

James Bond is known for his exotic locations like Monte Carlo, the Swiss Alps and the Caribbean. In which Bond movie is much of the action in Kentucky?
“Goldfinger” (Ft Knox)
We are off and running. Post your scoring totals with future questions, as in
(+23) What is the meaning of life? (not a quiz question)
Everyone who posts a question will have a score since you must answer a question correctly to post a question.
NOTE: While I am available to arbitrate disputes, I am not going to check answers to all questions, if nobody disputes an answer once somebody validates it, that will stand.
For example, I don’t know if Goldfinger is right or not, I saw it many years ago and don’t remember much about it. But I will defer to question posers or third party validators in all cases unless I am sure they are wrong about a validation.
David Bowie.
Which Founding Father is known as “The American Cincinnatus?”
George washington
Correct +1. You get to post the next question.
