Hey Bartender!
Joe Biden loves to brag about “his” great economic successes, particulary in jobs added. But the jobs added in March were not in higher-paying factory jobs, but Biden’s building from the bottom-up approach is mostly low-paying leisure and hospitality jobs.
And here is the rub on wages. Average hourly earnings growth fell to 4.2% YoY, too bad inflation is 6% and expected to rise with the summer.
236k jobs added in March, down from a revised 326k jobs added in February. The unemployment rate fell to 3.5% and labor force participation rose slightly to 62.6%.
Construction jobs added were down -9k. Retail jobs were down -14.6k jobs. But leisure and hospitality jobs added were +72k.
Bear in mind that many of the jobs added were simply jobs added back after the catestrophic Covid government shutdowns.
Here is Lloyd from the film “The Shining.” A big fan of Biden’s bartender economic recovery.

My guess is that a huge percentage of those in "Travel and Leisure" are illegal aliens, NOT AMERICANS!
There has never been anything for Joe Biden to brag about, other than being a delusional and feckless parasite on the public dole.
Seasonal Adjustment?
We all know these numbers will be revised down next month. Every part of government is lying.
If you believe the numbers. Call me a sceptic as I do not.
NO, compare it to the ADP report. And then look at the small detail technical sheet on the BLS site.
The snapshot week was just before the ‘bank runs.’
So there is about 80k-100,000 job losses missing from todays report. Fallout from the banking sector and professional services is not being report yet. We’ll see those numbers in the April report.
Inflation, at least for food, isn’t “just” 6%. It is a lot more. Hamburger buns have gone from a buck 89 to like $3.49 and that is for the cheap ones! That inflation is 84% in the last very few years.
Everything the gooberment says is bull.
Thanks for the link.
You are welcome. Eye opening uh...
Only really added 136K job, not what the headline reads.
I read an article yesterday that the Labor Dept changed how they were calculating the number, IOW - cooking the books, and it wasn’t looking good.
Someone else try to make sense of this sh*tshow, please.

Thanks. That makes perfect sense.
And it is just like the #ComDem’s to spin right into the gates of hell.
All the #ComDem’s lie, they must lie, if they ever told the truth, no one would ever vote for them.
