This is a very important read. What this shows is that the Democrats and the Deep State needed an “emergency” on January 6th to culminate their 2020 Election steal.
In order to complete the 2020 Election coup, Pelosi, Schumer, McConnell and Pence needed to create an emergency. The only way to prevent Congress from delaying the certification of state electoral votes was to create a crisis that could easily be designated an emergency.
Just moments, literally 3 minutes before two representatives issued a vote for motions to suspend the certification, the House members were “informed” by capitol police and other “agents” that a protest was about to breach the chambers. It was at this time that key people: Pence, Pelosi, Schumer, Mcconnell can be seen being walked out and escorted from the chamber. This effectively halted the Entire Chamber Process…
The crisis was created to eliminate the motion challenges to halt the certification and to begin voting to look into voting irregularities and fraud.
The two motions were completely legal and constitutional under at least two constitutionally recognized procedures… procedures that would REQUIRE the House to pause the certification and then vote to determine whether the motions of suspend could move forward…

I strongly suspect the "Deep state" wanted an emergency. They clearly used the January 6 protests as a means to secure their power. They very likely worked hard to form the protests into something they could use.
It is not clear if it were "needed". Such things are inherently difficult to know.
It is clear, IMHO, that it was used to consolidate power and intimidate any opposition.
This is actually quite plausible and lets them put the coup in a nice legalistic form.
And of course, all the other classic coup activities happened. If it happened in South America everybody would immediately call it a coup.
Two divisions of troops in the streets. The troops were gathered from all 50 states so the governors were put on the spot as to where they stood.
Seize the radio and TV station (metaphorically) Freezing Trump out of all social media, refusing him the ability to address the nation. Hard censorship on the issue.
They Generals coordinated with the coup leaders that they would ignore orders from Trump.
Mass arrests of the opposition.
A firehose of propaganda followed by massive domestic spying.

It was useful also to vilify Trump, and yes, to justify further crackdowns.
CTH is out to lunch on this. There’s far too much attention being paid to the January 6th proceedings in Congress. By the time we got to January 6th, the certification of the 2020 presidential election was a mere formality. The most critical date in the election process wasn’t January 6th, but December 14th of 2020. That was the date established for the formal convening of the presidential electors in their respective states. Once that date passed without any action taken by state legislatures to certify competing slates of electors in the states where voting irregularities were rampant, the opportunity to contest the results later pretty much disappeared.
Articles like this also completely misrepresent the role of the U.S. Supreme Court in a presidential election. A presidential election is one of the only areas of the U.S. Constitution where state laws supersede acts of Congress and the authority of federal courts. So once the calendar turned from 2020 to 2021, the Supreme Court was going to reject any legal challenges to the 2020 election results no matter what Nancy Pelosi decided to do on January 6th.
Seems it was all orchestrated by Pelosi. Seems the fact that Trump twice offered Fed troops as insurance but she declined even though she is in charge of security proves the fact. She wanted it all to happen to blame Trump to keep him from running in the election. Seems it was her idea to have Ray Epps and cohorts with bull horns encouraging protesters to storm the Capitol Building as insurance.

It also explains why hardly any have had actual trials, and instead are rotting in prison deprived of justice. This way inconvenient facts are not forced revealed in court. This is also why Tucker got shut down. The video will destroy all court cases and will prove a coup occurred by the deep state actors doing much of the violence and damage and letting people in.
