Details in the Death of Former Clinton Adviser Change Again
Red State ^ | 02/25/2023 | Nick Arama

We reported earlier this week on the new report that no gun was found at the site of the death of former Clinton adviser Mark Middleton, a death that was ruled a suicide, according to the Daily Mail. There was a cord around his neck tied to a tree limb above and a gunshot wound to his chest.

Now the Mail has more documents that they obtained from the sheriff in the matter that reveals that the initial report was incorrect — that indeed there was a shotgun found — 30 feet away from Middleton’s body. There are also more details about Middleton’s death from Perry Sheriff Scott Montgomery.

NEW:

County sheriff now says a gun WAS found, 30 feet from body of Clinton aide linked to Jeffrey Epstein

Mark Middleton found shot and tied to a tree with an electrical cord around his neck

According to Sergeant Keenan Carter in the new documents:

He tied an electrical cord round his neck and then shot himself, so if the blast didn’t kill him the wire would when he fell.

In the note to his wife Rhea, Middleton said: ‘Going to rest for a while,’ he added: ‘You are a great Mom and wife babe.

‘Please be happy today and get some sun. It will make you feel better. I love you.’

He signed off on the text with a heart emoji.

Carter said Middleton, 59, then pulled an eight-foot-long bench over to a tree at a point on the ranch overlooking a valley.

‘He stood on top of the bench and tied one end of the extension cord to a large limb of the tree and the other end around his neck.

‘It is believed that Mr. Middleton then took the firearm and placed the barrels against his chest and then reached out with his left hand and placed his first finger on the first trigger.

‘It is then believed that Mr. Middleton pulled the trigger on the firearm casing (sic) it to discharge and strike him in the chest and then he fell from the bench causing the extension cord to become tight cutting off his breathing.’

Carter said in this report that the gun landed so far from Middleton’s body ‘due to the recoil from the discharge and the height and angle of the ground.’

So the cause of death was determined to be both a shotgun blast and a hanging. Lawson’s report doesn’t mention a bench and talks about him sitting by the tree. The new report doesn’t explain why the original report found no gun. Now given the shifting reports and the distance of the gun away from the body, I’m not sure this new report is going to quiet questions.

Middleton was a special advisor to Bill Clinton when he was in the White House and he signed in Jeffrey Epstein seven of the 17 times that Epstein came to the White House. Middleton also was a passenger on Epstein’s jet. But his departure from the Clinton ambit was an acrimonious one with the White House claiming that he used his position to impress business clients. Middleton denied any such thing.

RIP for the dead guy with demons and devastation for his family.
BUT

No mention of Hillary’s Flying Monkeys, either. Madam Macabre.

I don’t buy the 30’ shotgun travel by recoil. Even with 12 gauge.

Unless it was on a steep grade downward, where it could slide.

The recoil threw the shotgun 30 feet? That seems ... unlikely.

The story is ridiculous but no one has the stones to call out the pile of convenient bodies around the Clintons.

Just like the Vince Foster story. The officials investigating his death changed their stories, found evidence, lost evidence and concocted whatever was needed to make the whole thing so confusing that eventually everyone gave up and forgot about it.

The only way for the shotgun to end up 30 feet from the body is if he was standing at the edge of a cliff. I would like to know the make and model of the shotgun. It’s not so easy to shoot yourself in the chest with some shotguns. They didn’t say anything about blood spatter from the shotgun blast.

Freeper “AJFavish” recently posted something about Vince Foster, and I found online:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/special/whitewater/docs/fosterva.htm#VB1

Where the Post has “the full text of the report on the 1993 death of White House counsel Vincent W. Foster, Jr., compiled by Whitewater independent counsel Kenneth Starr.”

[EXCERPT]

V. Forensic Analysis

B. Laboratory Analysis

Evidence receipts show that, at the Fort Marcy scene, the Park Police obtained physical evidence and clothing, including the following:

* Colt Army Special .38 caliber revolver, 4”, 6-shot (obtained from “right hand victim”)

* round .38 caliber RP 38 SPL HV (from “revolver”)

* casing .38 caliber RP 38 SPL HV (from “revolver”)

1) Gun

a. Operation

The .38 caliber revolver recovered from Mr. Foster’s hand at Fort Marcy Park had a four-inch barrel and a capacity of six shots. It had one live round and one spent casing. Had the trigger been pulled again, the next shot would have fired the remaining round.

In August 1993, at the request of the Park Police, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) Laboratory examined the revolver and found that it functioned. The ATF Laboratory determined that the cartridge case found in the cylinder under the hammer was fired in that gun. The FBI Laboratory also test-fired the gun and determined that it “functioned normally” and that the trigger pulls were normal. The .38 caliber cartridge case “was identified as having been fired in the . . . revolver. “ Like the expended cartridge, the unexpended cartridge was .38 caliber manufactured by Remington. They bore similar headstamps. Dr. Lee also test-fired the revolver and found that it was operable.

b. Serial Numbers

An ATF report on the gun’s two serial numbers revealed a purchase at the Seattle Hardware Company in Seattle, Washington, on September 14, 1913, and at the Gus Habich Company in Indianapolis, Indiana, on December 29, 1913. The gun could not be further traced. Laboratory examination of the gun found no indication of any alteration of the serial number of the weapon. . . . The additional serial number on the crane of the firearm most likely occurred at some time when the eighty year-old weapon was repaired. There is no realistic way to determine when such a repair occurred. The exchange of the two numbers between the frame and the crane is a condition noted on many similar firearms in the Laboratory’s Reference Firearms Collection and is not considered significant.

Well, thanks. I’m not sure that contains anywhere near what I read about it in 2000 when people were really digging into it.

I think the "other serial number" is a temp number given to parts when the pistol was being manufactured. I have several old S&W pistols and several key parts have the same number, but that number is not the serial number. I read many moons ago that when a lot of hand fitting was required to manufacture a pistol it was common to give key parts a temporary serial number, to keep the hand fitted parts together. Once the pistol was finished, it was given its final serial number. On S&W revolvers, the official serial number is on the butt.

Totally Agree.

But remember, it is said that BJC was CIA connected early on.

And it was clear that GHWB knew BJC well. He was treated like member of the family at times.

I do know about a lot of what went on in AR in the Iran Contra affair and the AR support platform there.

I’ve been to Mena, did business with a retailer there. He owned property on way to Nella. After he got to know me we had interesting conversations about it, up to a point.

I bought the first copy of Terry Reed’s book, Compromised, that I ever saw on the shelf. What an eye opener. I loaned it to my neighbor in OK (an attorney). He worked for the law firm that was involved in the Nichols/McVeigh trial. He was not personally involved, but overheard conversation that would hush up when it was made known he was not in the loop. He thanked me for loaning him the book, said it opened his eyes a bit.

After reading the book, I had a phone conversation with a local talk show commentator who interviewed Terry Reed many times. I was trying to measure the credibility of the book. He told me that Reed was always truthful and knowledgeable.

Yes, AR is dirty. Politically and economically.

Good friend of mine who lived in AR for a while was well informed. I had dinner one night at their home in Kansas, in conversation over dinner, the subject came up. His wife went to college with the daughter of Seth Ward. (a principal in Rose Law Firm)

It is a small world.

Never ascribe to malice that which can be explained by incompetence.

But always remember, without the incompetent, the malicious can not succeed.
