Here are a few clips, in no particular order, of our recent Steve Kane Radio Show cruise to the Caribbean from January 28 to February 4. Included are scenes of the INCREDIBLY beautiful island of Tortola and from inside the Giant Champagne Glass Hot Tub aboard the Celebrity Apex. The cruise was so outstanding that at times I wonder if my memories were just an embellished dream but watching the videos reminds me it was absolutely REAL. I have many more videos of this cruise that I will also be sharing later especially as it helps me relive a wonderful experience.
p.s. In April 2024 our group has another cruise scheduled to the ABC islands of the Southern Caribbean. Since we went there on a cruise last September my wife's attitude is Been There, Done That but my attitude is Been There, Done That... which is why I WANNA DO IT AGAIN!!! Hopefully these videos of our Eastern Caribbean cruise will help my wife change her mind so we can return to paradise on the ABC islands cruise next year.
PING!
FYI
Thanks!
I prefer a villa on Tortola’s west end. Say a week to 2 weeks.
If you know how, you can get a 1-3M$ villa with pool walking distance to the beach for 400$ or so a night. That’s with 3 or 4 en-suite bedrooms, so split the price and that’s 100$ a night.
And you are in a private villa, not crammed in with 1,000 other folks eating rubber chicken from a buffet
Some typical Caribbean island featuring fat people on the beach and in a hot tub.
Have lost some sight due to foolish exposure to this poorly done video.
The best steaks are in specialty steak house on cruise ships
The filet mignon I can not even finish, it is so big.
Celebrity Ocean View Cafe is hardly rubber chicken style. Try roast beef, ox tail, smoked salmon, steaks, gourmet pizza, etc.. All of which I ate there (and in the regular on-board restaurants).
Do you have any pictures of your grandchildren that you can share?
Sorry we don't meet with your physical standards. Look, I was in pretty good shape and worked out a lot when I was younger but now I'm more laid back and just let it all go to hell.
Those kids at the end are my niece and nephew. They weren't on the cruise.
Looks wonderful......food for thought for a future cruise
My wife and I just returned to Galveston this morning from a RC Western Caribbean cruise.....our first. So much fun and great food!
Next year our same group is going on the MAGA cruise to the ABC islands of Southern Caribbean. We went by ourselves to the ABC islands last September. My wife doesn’t want to go next year (yet) because we had already been there but I loved it so much that I definitely want to go back especially since the comraderie of the group is so incredible. Therefore I am working bit by bit to get her to change her mind.
Many years ago my cousin went on a what I call a cattle boat cruise to Bermuda and he hated it. No wonder. The cruise was OVERPACKED with people with not high level services. Anyway, he has changed his mind about cruises after he saw the almost one hour documentary about our cruise produced by one of the cruise leaders, and co-host of the Steve Kane Radio Show, Brian Craig.
I’d like to see an NFL Draft themed cruise. You know 3-4 days. It’s such a big event. Why not watch it all when out to sea? Just make sure one can watch it on the ship.
The NFL was smart enough to move the event out of NY and now 300k fans will descend on KC just like they did last year in Nashville.
Even a couple of separate 6 hour cruises around the bay or up rivers would do the trick. Plenty of money to be made only to be topped by money people are willing to spend.
Don’t waste your time talking to cruise-virgins.
I can’t wait to book my 49th cruise.
Thanks.
I’m interested in taking my wife on a cruise (Shhh... she just turned 60...). Since we’re in Florida, I’m thinking a Caribbean cruise (we’ve been to the Bahamas and St. Thomas, but never on a boat).
I think we’d prefer a no kids cruise, if that’s possible.
Checking cruise lines now.
My cousin’s husband requires no kids cruises...they are out there
“my wife’s attitude is Been There, Done That”
We don’t mind AT ALL visiting ports we’ve done before. Those are great days to stay on the ship while the masses are gone exploring.
