Two years ago today, Kathryn Adams Limbaugh went on the air to announce that America's Anchorman, the Mayor of Realville, the Doctor of Democracy, the harmless little fuzzball, her husband, the great Rush Hudson Limbaugh III, had assumed room temperature.
(That means he died, for those of you in Rio Linda.)
America is worse off for his absence. Nobody will ever amass the audience, have the influence, or have as much fun doing it as Rush did. There is no one like him, though many try.
Imagine what he would have thought of Sam Brinton.
Bump
He would have had a blast with the balloons.
And the times when Walter E. Williams would have Thomas Sowell on as a guest.
“Dr. Williams, what are you getting Mrs. Williams for Christmas?”
“A frying pan.”
We are all richer for the time we had together
He had impeccable comedic timing. I remember when he first burst on the national scene in the 1980s...the left was thunderstruck.
His short-lived TV show was underrated.
I always loved it before Dr. Sowell got too old and would sometimes fill in as the guest host for the entire show. I especially loved it when the main topic of the day had to do with some kind of “welfare”.
Still miss Rush...one if a kind, and we got to live in the era as he dominated the mefium. Thinking of signing up with Steyn...he seems closest replacement.
His thought process sometimes led in a different direction than mine....when that happened I would always be amazed at his wisdom. As many have said...Rush is irreplaceable...I miss him greatly.
Yes. It's a reminder of Rush's greatness.

I still remember the day Walter E. Williams interviewed Thomas Sowell. What an incredible show ...
He is missed in this old man’s life.
Mega Dittoes that.
I agree for the most part. The problem with most of them is delivery. Rush perfected that. And the voice. Most have no voice for radio. That includes the two milktoasts that filled his time slot. Clay and the other guy. Listened a few times and that was all
No more.
Praget is great but he is slow.
Bongino still can’t get the delivery right. He can’t learn from his mistakes.
Beck is a waste of time. He has more tangential thoughts than a trigonometry book. CANNOT LISTEN TO HIM
Content and delivery, Rush was the king. RIP RUSH.
