At a conference this morning, Transportation Secretary Peter Buttigieg, aka Pothole Pete, failed to mention the 50-car train derailment in Ohio. It led to a controlled burn sending some poisonous gases into the air in East Palestine, Ohio, and in the direction of Pennsylvania and New York City. Some people complained of fish and livestock dying after the plumes permeated the air.
Buttigieg did, however, say too many white people work construction. He’s still on the racist jobs, racist roads, racist everything. His solution is to hire people by race.
He should really address this with the unions. Apparently, he thinks blue-collar jobs are too privileged.
Mr. Buttigieg, the son of a famous Marxist professor, seems to have strange priorities. Forget derailments, but look for ways to have fewer whites in blue-collar jobs?
USA Today reports: on the derailment Days after crews released and burned toxic chemicals carried by a train that wrecked in Ohio, residents were concerned about toxic substances that could be lingering in their evacuated neighborhoods.
About 50 cars, including 10 carrying hazardous materials, derailed in a fiery crash Friday in East Palestine, according to rail operator Norfolk Southern and the National Transportation Safety Board.
Vinyl chloride was released into the air Monday from five of those cars before crews ignited it to get rid of the highly flammable toxic chemicals in a controlled environment, creating a dark plume of smoke.
The chemicals are still lingering, people are finding dead fish and animals, and it’s heading for New York City. We can’t speak to the other chemicals.

Really??? Because every time I drive by a road construction site it appears to me that almost every single worker there is Hispanic -— so???
My dad and uncles were in construction most of their lives. I worked construction during college summers we were laborers. Mostly Italian and some blacks. We were the ginnies. The carpenters were Irish, the Micks. The pavers were Portugese or Brazilian. They were porkchops. The dockbuilders and wire lathers were Scandinavian. They were the squareheads. No fights of the names. Plenty of arguments overcards at lunch, over who got OT.
He doesn’t visit the southwest very often, does he? Mostly brown skinned folks working in construction around here.

These guys are hell bent on destroying everything we’ve all worked so hard for and they’ve destroyed race relations as a priority to help achieve that.
We are so screwed if we can’t get rid of these evil people.

In the Washington, DC metro area, it’s the same way, mostly Hispanics doing construction.
That Buttplug hasn’t noticed this or ignored it, well...

The Black population is only 12.1% if Black Hispanics are counted in to the Hispanic population, or 12.4% if Black Hispanics are counted as Black.
Construction jobs used to be good paying jobs until all the cheap Mexican labor came in. That’s been going on at least since the 80s. Where’s this idiot been? Well, maybe I shouldn’t ask.
Really, as far as I can tell it is mostly Hispanics working construction these days.
