Fortunately the two monkeys are back at work, where they are dutifully writing White House border, fiscal, supply chain and military policy 😂

Is it a crime? Does Texas have a law covering stolen monkeys? Does the Dallas Zoo believe they can own an animal or just be the caregiver? If the Zoo owns the monkey, how was it purchased and what rights did the seller have to transfer title to the Zoo? All interesting questions and guess we need a Zoo lawyer or Monkey Attorney. 🧐

I would never have guessed that the Black community would developed an appetite for monkey meat. Perhaps it's the result of taking
ALL those drugs coming up from our Southern border. It used to be that Mexican Gold would cause the munchies. Now it is where food and culture mix:
Monkey Munchies!
Bon appétit!

Sure hope the Dallas Zoo has a valid license from the US Secretary of Agriculture or it’s going to get interesting.

Some local has been cutting the fencing at the zoo. He wasn’t able to get away with the clouded leopard.

Texas has some pretty strict laws on what you are and aren’t allowed to possess. Hell, rattlesnakes are a protected species in Texas. Pretty much every state has some laws concerning wildlife, especially exotics.
Zoos can have those exotics because they hop through the regulatory hoops and have the staff on hand to care for those exotics.
