Slavery is not illegal. Blacks still vote Democrat.
How abt we teach kids abt the slavery that goes on TODAY? Of course blacks do not want to help those slaves today they just want their REPARATIONS. They do not really care abt slavery.
I went to elementary school in North Carolina in the late 60’s and early 70’s. From third grade to sixth grade, most of what we learned about in history was slavery. I was taught NOTHING about Vietnam and minimally about WWI and WWII. We sang negro spirituals in music class and many of the crafts we did - murals, costumes - were based on black people and slavery.
My relatives didn’t even arrive in this country until the early 1900’s so Don Lemon can kiss my sweet white Southern ass.
Maybe he needs to be focused on the sexual assault case he is involved in and STFU.

Teaching the history of slavery is a good idea... Don’t forget to start at the beginning and finish at the end... Because apparently, slavery exist in society today with many countries still engaging in the practice of slavery. The Civil war was the end of sanctioned slavery in the United States... It was not the end of slavery.

How about we find one group to blame for all the slavery that existed in the world for thousands of years, because their ancestors did it too? Then we might as well gas them all even though they had nothing to do with it personally. But I’m sure that wouldn’t be enough for some.

And that slavery is still happening; we just call it human trafficking now. It occurs around the world to people of all races, ages, sexes and religions. Until Jesus the Christ comes again, it will be just as present as is war, poverty and disease. It’s an ongoing battle that we must fight but that only He can eradicate.
What I would like to see is exactly what the teaching syllabus is for these classes the Desantis and everybody is all worked up about. Right now all we have is someone’s word that it’s all bad. Show us exactly what you object to, be specific and let the public decide if it is something to support or object to. All kinds of allegations are thrown about but can anybody, outside of the state of Florida honestly say they have seen the syllabus??
In fact there are more slaves living in the world now than at any time in world history. And it’s not white Europeans doing it.

Do they actually hire unbiased, qualified, people for that type of job? They can’t do any better with their followers and as long as there is nothing but diversity, different ideas and teachings with everyone, and there is going to be, then how does someone come out with one successful idea on a single topic. Remember, diversity also loses it’s stance in compromise. It is no longer diversity, it is a sacrifice.
