Putin Is Smiling: Is America Running Out Of Ammo To Send To Ukraine?

Ukraine is burning through ammunition for 155mm howitzers quickly and it is leaving the United States in a bind, according to a new report by think tank CSIS.

It could take up to five years for the industrial base to produce enough rounds to replenish American stocks.

It is not just cannon shells. Javelin and Stinger missiles could take six to eight years to normalize for the U.S. inventory.

“If one must fight a conventional ground war against a near-peer opponent...”

Good thing we don’t have any near-peer opponents capable of forcing us into a conventional ground war then. I dunno though, maybe Mexico or Canada will take advantage of this and start a big military buildup to challenge us.

Since Joe has been in charge, America is running out of everything. Obozo has done a good job of sabotaging the American Dream.

“It is the world’s second-largest exporter of arms, behind only the United States.”

That doesn’t really seem to support your hypothesis that time will work in Russia’s favor.

“Nah... I’m pretty sure that America has enough soldiers, equipment and weapons to fight a war anywhere in the world, at any time.”

That’s fine, many in DC think the same...and that’s why articles like this need to be written.

There are multiple opportunities for such in Asia, and that’s if we just focus on our core interests. Korea is a classic example. Philippine Islands is another.

Except the United States is located on the opposite side of the planet from Asia, and nobody in Asia has a navy that can challenge us, so they cannot force us into a conventional ground war.

“It COULD take up to five years for the industrial base to produce enough rounds to replenish American stocks.

There’s that silly word again: “COULD”

More idiocy and fear mongering. If need be, the US military will not have any problems replenishing its ammo stocks.

Stupid article. JMHO.

We could backfill from our supply currently hidden in Afghanistan.

Such blind Military Industrial dupes. After trillions and a million dead ensuring the Middle East is safe for Raytheon, here we go for trillions more in Act II. Both quagmires had zero strategic interest for America but the Government/Media conglomerate leads these saps around to the point of supporting this lunacy. As I said in March, a generational, multi trillion $ needless CF.

Yes, you’re right. Prepositioned. Military age young men owned by cartels - some drug runners - some ‘enforcers’...some that can be ‘called up’...

Odd how the only illegals we hear about are the few thousand sent to sanctuary cities like New York - and not the 5 million who came here last year and were distributed around the country in the middle of the night.

Where are they? How did they ‘blend in’? Why aren’t any local papers reporting on new ‘groups’ of illegals or problems? New York has stories every week - and they have ‘thousands’ not 5 million.,

Why are Biden’s choices always ‘accidentally’ choices that benefit cartels? Same as Biden’s choices accidentally helping China and Ukraine?

Uhm, Russia is right next-door to the Ukraine while the United States is 5000 miles away?

...and we can’t, since we’ve OUTSOURCED much of our defense production base

Incorrect. We could but look who holds power in America: The woke, the anti-human ecologists and climate hysterical, and all the stupid and indoctrinated followers (thank you, USA Schools) who believe them.

But the USA could mine rare earths and trade with friendly countries for what we need, which is actually very little. The factories could be fired up again, or even built. My point was, we spend vast amounts of fake money on all kinds of tom-foolery, why not spent fake money on real material goods our country actually needs, while putting people to work? And every other generation we have to go on a crash course level to remake fighting equipment and train new fighting men because we neglected it.

Hell, it is a rhetorical question anyway, we know the answer...

America has to produce super-expensive weapons in small numbers to kick back the billions demanded by politicians.

There is not enough kickback money in inexpensive artillery rounds.

Well, I guess it’s impossible for the United States to deliver things 5000 miles away.

I believe the army should still have about 200,000 M26 rockets left. They’re deemed for destruction and it costs more than $1000 to destroy one.

Should just give them to Ukraine and they’ll take care of these.

Biden won’t do it of course.

Well it does have to get the arms to Europe, ship it through the continent, then through a devastated and dark western Ukraine (which is full of thieves), and into the hands of the conscripts. So yeah, a very long supply line.

Putin Is Smiling: Is America Running Out Of Ammo To Send To Ukraine?

It is ironic that President Reagan brought down the Soviet Union by winning the Arms Race and bringing the Star Wars defense threat, and we see now that turnabout is fair play.

That is what we get for letting idiots take power.

The end is nigh for Putin... It’s just a matter of time.

Dream on, he will outlive you or me.
