Video: D.C. Whole Foods Imposes QR Code System To Shop

Eerie footage out of Washington, D.C. foreshadows what is soon coming to all of America: a social credit system that will require shoppers to scan their QR code to shop for goods.

A concerned shopper showed an array of QR code scanners lining the entrance of the Whole Foods in D.C., lamenting that she doesn’t want a QR code to shop for necessities.

“So, basically you cannot go into the Whole Foods Market in Washington, D.C. unless you scan your own QR code, and they track everything you’re doing. This is the future of all grocery stores,” she said, adding “I’m going to have to boycott Whole Foods.”

This is the future of all grocery stores...

Yes, because of this:

Was looking for the book at Walmart to look up what battery my truck needs. Nope, scan QR code so they can suck up more data.

This does not require a QR code for entry but for exit. That’s glaringly obvious.

And this citizen journalist did ZERO investigation:

- How do you get a QR code?

- Do you need a smartphone, etc to get a QR code?

- What if you go into a store and don’t purchase anything?

Just awful, lazy investigative journalism.

Pardon my lack of technical expertise, but where does one obtain this QR code that seems to be required to exit the Whole Food$?

It’s not required. This article is typical of the media hysteria to generate clicks on an article (where they really *do* track users (anonymously) by the way).

If you download the Amazon Whole Foods app it will generate a code for your Amazon account which provides for a secure “handshake” between the cashless cash register in the store and your Amazon account. Think of it like using a credit card, but instead of reading a mag stripe, the store reads the unique QR code from your app.

Re: 38 - Thanks for pointing this out. I doubt it will make much difference to people who are intellectually lazy.

I sympathize with merchants suffering shoplifting. The left is pushing this so it is not what this is about.

I was in a CA Home Depo the other day...waiting on the Depo guy for some assistance.

He was explaining to a customer about a missing packet of self tapping screws.

He said...(consulting his HD phone)...there should be two packet here

Looks like someone walked off without paying

Its just too cumbersome to prosecute petty theft in CA

The company just has to ignore it,

QR codes may be the future for sheep, but they will not be the future for true US citizens. I predict that most QR scanners will be smashed to bits faster than they can be replaced.

Has one single Dominion voting machine been smashed to bits?

Opening up another can of worms, I also refuse to present my receipt at the Walmart exit to prove that the property that I just purchased is my legally owned property. Something about that pesky 4th Amendment thing about being secure in my property, papers and stuff.

The people who now control us...the narrative engineers. They know about the “mark of the beast” prophecy in Revelation, and just for the heck of it - just because they can - they will deliberately create a system hilariously (to them) called, “Mark of the Beast”. And, they will have much fun (to them) putting the squeeze on the faithful.

They will think they are just playing a big friggin prank on believers and will have no idea they are in fact fulfilling prophecy. I ain’t gonna play their game. They will not have the last laugh.

I am a techno-hater and will not be able to stand this.

From the song Everybody Knows by Leonard Cohen (1988)

Everybody knows the scene is dead
But there’s gonna be a meter on your bed
That will disclose
What everybody knows

Other lines:
Everybody knows that the dice are loaded
Everybody rolls with their fingers crossed
Everybody knows the war is over
Everybody knows the good guys lost
Everybody knows the fight was fixed
The poor stay poor, the rich get rich
That’s how it goes
Everybody knows

And everybody knows that you’re in trouble
Everybody knows what you’ve been through
From the bloody cross on top of Calvary
To the beach of Malibu
Everybody knows it’s coming apart
Take one last look at this Sacred Heart
Before it blows
Everybody knows

We refuse the QR codes, too. You can’t know what is embedded that identifies you, well enough. Plus, it lets them put an embedded web tracker on your phone for when you visit sites.

It gives the middle and upper classes a reason to join in when DC has the next round of riots and looting.

Nah, the mark of the beast is your PIN number on your debit card. I learned this back in 1977 when I worked at a bank in a small town. We had installed three ATMs around town and mailed out debit cards, and then PIN numbers separately.

We got phone calls from a few people who were angry, saying those PIN numbers were the mark of the beast. We got phone calls from the rest of the people who had no idea what an ATM was, or what a PIN number was. They were mad because they thought we were going to force them to use an ATM. It all worked out in the end, but for about a month all we did was answer phone calls from customers upset for one reason or the other about the ATMs.

Terminator “vaccines” are optional, too. Sort of. But you better get them or else.

If you ever used a credit card to purchase anything, you used a unique identifier on that card that identifies you back at the credit card company. A QR code is a unique identifier. it happens to be optical rather than magnetic, which makes it a natural candidate to interact with smart phones.

The QR code at Whole Foods is another payment option. You can use cash, credit, or a QR linked to an Amazon account. Amazon gives you a discount for using the app, which makes sense as they don’t pay a cut to American Express or Visa.

It's Whole Foods’ QR Code. Every cell phone can scan a QR code these days with the camera. You scan it and some of your personal data will be downloaded to their system. Apple ID or gmail email at the least and that identifies you because it's tied to the info you used when you activated the phone.

There are apps and systems for you to create a QR Code but what use does the average person have for one?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QR_code

Originally designed for tracking goods and as a replacement for bar codes, they're finding many uses for them.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QR_code_payment

China and India are leading the way on QR payments, because of course they are.

Our big west coast Health Care PPO has been using this for about a year.

You make an appt online with your primary care doc or specialist. We do this in the comfort of our home.

You get a printout or can use your phone. If there is a co pay, you can do it then on line.

So when, you show up, you show the check in clerk a printout or use your payphone. Then, you see your md or pt, often before you sit down in the waiting room.

It is so efficient at both ends, they are now down to 2 check in clerks for 2 floors of MDs or PTs versus basically one for two for each MD or PT, versus 20 plus check in clerks.

Many MDs/PTs are greeting their patients in the waiting rooms, and their diagnoses often start while walking and talking to their patients and heading to the exam rooms.

Our wait time is minimal if any. My wife had a hip replacement and several post op PT visits for about 10 weeks. She never had to sit down and wait to see her PT. They met her in their new 4 seat waiting area and escorted her and their other patients to their work out areas. My wife and other patients had their next appt. printed out, and they got a copy.
