The only reason I can think of for them to pay that kind of cheddar for the BC ID verification would be a guarantee that they wouldn’t be censored or zotted no matter what they did.

That would be pretty expensive, he would be better off to turn it over to police or a federal regulatory agency. That kind of crime only involving nonpolitical figures does still get some action.
