Sounds like some serious Securities and Exchange Commission crimes for a corrupt publicly held company.

Where were the CEO, CFO, CIO, and COO? Where was the Board of Directors? Where were the auditors?

Maybe this is why Musk said he didn't have to pay out executive packages to the former C-level, because they were fired for cause?

I wonder if the Securities and Exchange Commission is as corrupt as the FBI? Elon might NOT want to call them in until he has copies of everything...

My first thought, as well. Keeps them out of jail; saves him a lot of legal hassle. "Take your guilt and just go!"
