Manchin always was a snake. I kept posting that in reply to everyone who said “God Bless him,” when he was all talk about holding out on the trillion $ spending bill. He was only holding out to get a deal for himself.
Our local coal fired power plant is shut down to do maintenance work on the bottom ash system. They are spending millions to do it.
If they are spending that much to do that work on a coal fired plant I doubt it will be shut down permanently.
That ought to finish off the democrats’ chances on Tuesday.

Pollution from coal plants is a real thing. Which do I like more, less pollution or pissing off global warming freaks? The latter from an emotional perspective. From a business perspective, what is the TCO of all the energy generation alternatives? Go with that one. Export our coal.
