In our town several businesses were accused by friends of competitors of not adhering to mandates and state enforcers and licensing boards were called and the businesses were threatened with shutdown WITHOUT ANY PROOF, JUST ACCUSATIONS.
Interestingly, all the targeted businesses were owned by conservatives.

If/when a GOP Senate or House ever takes action to hold Fauci, Birx, etc., accountable for their crimes, I wonder if people like your family members will believe the truth when it comes out. I don’t think many will believe the truth; that would require them to admit they were bamboozled and nobody wants to do that.
I suspect it bothers the hell out of her that the Americans most likely to be on her side in resisting the Branch Covidian lockdowns and mandates were black people living in urban ghettos and white people living in rural trailer parks.

Frankly, I’m surprised that Naomi and family haven’t relocated to a free state already. She quit being a Democrat about a year ago, IIRC. Baby steps.

Maybe I’m warped but if I really don’t have to answer something with the truth because the truth that they’re looking for is obscene, I just lie. Maybe I’ll go to hell for that. But you know what? I don’t have to put up with much b******* when I can just say “yeah sure.”
But before I get piled on, let me just say that the last movie I have seen in a movie theater was The Passion. I think movie theater cleanliness is non existent and I’m not a germaphobe but when your shoes stick to the floor why would you put yourself through that?
To top it off, I cook about 98% of the food that I consume from scratch, if I can cook better than the restaurant that people want to go... I’ll go home and cook my own food because everything else is sub standard to my trained abilities. And I enjoy that.
And when they went to shopping for you and delivering the food to your car in the parking lot.. not that I like that but I have very little facetime in public places partially because I don’t want to be out in public too much, and also because I just went through almost 3 years of physical therapy for two construction accidents back to back and that just kind of kept me home, especially when I got the word from my hand specialist that I really should be doing physical therapy on that hand every waking hour. So that was my covid experience, it was non-existent because I didn’t participate.
