This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available

Correct
In essence, it’s all about Newton’s third law, which states that “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.”
To counter the main rotor rotation, some helicopters have 2 main rotors coaxial counter rotating...like the gif below:
Some helicopters have 2 rotors in tandem with two main rotors that are mounted at either end of the helicopter’s body...like the picture below:
Most helicopters have a tail rotor...like the Apache:
I don't like helicopters...they have too many moving parts.
4 total.
[”n Pskov region, not far from Latvia on a military airfield, two Ka-52s were damaged by an explosion at around 10pm.”]
“Ukrainian intelligence has confirmed the destruction of two Russian Ka-52 attack helicopters at the airfield in the Pskov Oblast on the night of 31 October. Two more helicopters were severely damaged.”

About the only way to "capture" a helicopter is by the pilot(s) defecting.
Anyone aware of any helicopters defecting?
Two Ka-52 - GUR helicopters were destroyed at the airfield in the Pskov region of Russia

Two other aircraft were significantly damaged.

They belonged to the 2nd Squadron of the 17th Army Aviation Brigade of the Western Military District of the Russian Federation. Russian unnamed sources in the mass media emphasize that the skins of the helicopters were damaged.
They also claim that these Ka-52s were allegedly not in flight condition and were undergoing scheduled repairs in the maintenance department. The Russians do not report the causes of the explosions.
“air attacks on infrastructure facilities”
Illegal targets under the Geneva and Hague Conventions, to which Russia is a signatory.
No one doubts that these war crimes are deliberate, and approved, if not directed, by Putin.
“If McCarthy is serious on cutting back financial and military aid”
McCarthy has clarified that his “no more blank check” comment referred to demanding accounting for the use of the funds, but that he was committed to continuing support for the Ukrainian war effort.
So Russia is doomed.
Because of Putin.
Or that Ukraine has used civilians as human shields, targeted civilians in Donetsk and shelled a nuclear power plant.
Neocons are as hypocritical as liberals. I guess you're cut from the same cloth.
“@Osinttechnical
Footage currently circulating Ukrainian telegram channels claims to show a saboteur rigging explosive charges on a Russian Ka-52 helicopter at Veretye Air Base in Pskov Oblast.” https://twitter.com/Osinttechnical/status/1587188571181654021?cxt=HHwWioC9jZTm6YYsAAAA
This guy squats like real Slav, not like Western spy.
“@DarthPutinKGB
Day 250 of my 3 day war. My army advances backwards and I’m losing all my warships in a land war to a country that doesn’t have a navy while my air force fires at Europe’s largest country and misses it, hitting one next door.
I remain a master strategist.”
“@DarthPutinKGB
The only people now afraid of the Russian military are Russian men of military age.”
The US never leveled cities in Afghanistan or Serbia, and Mosul was in support of the Iraqi Army against ISIS.
However we did a number on Fallujah.
“However we did a number on Fallujah.”
That is true, but even there, we did not target electrical or water supplies to the city. Lots of buildings got demolished, as combatants fired from them - but that made them legal targets of military necessity, same with Mosul. None of the Russian war crime type of shelling and rocketing residential areas randomly, on purpose. Our soldiers and Commanders would go to Leavenworth for that.
A demonstration of the perfect squat:
“I don’t like helicopters...they have too many moving parts.“
And they are missile magnets…
@WarMonitor3
“2 more Russian Ka-52 attack helicopters were shot down on the southern frontline.”
Hardly a day goes by anymore…
Heels off ground - send for interrogation!
It's almost like the Ukrainians got a hold of the Russian tactics manual...preposition the MANPADs to the proper location...like sitting in a duck blind with a champion duck caller.
"Aviation Rule #1: Stay Away From the Shiny Spinny Things",
and this one:
War is war. Bob Taft 75 years ago understood the folly of war crimes trials, set apart of course from deliberate murder of a people wheth er Armeinians, Ukranians, Jews. Every Allied air force leader, whether Spaatz, Harris, LeMay was more guilty than Goering of so called war crimes. They followed war’s only rule, Don’t Lose. The Russians and Ukranians are following that rule .
Thanks!
“war’s only rule”
Nonsense. That is a barbaric throwback, that the civilized world won’t tolerate. That is why the Europeans did not buckle - because Russia abandoned all restraint and all decency, and descended into absolute barbarity.
That is Russia’s downfall, both spiritually and militarily. That is why everyone is now clear that Russia must be defeated, no matter the cost. No one wants to live in that kind of orc world.
