Arizona’s no-holds-barred gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake is on a one-person mission to correct course in the desert state. Guided by morality and the Constitution, she is not only speaking up forcefully and taking action, she is doing so in the correct way.
Katie Hobbs, on the other hand, her cowardly Democrat challenger, believes in nothing except raw power. After refusing to show up for a debate, Lake had the floor to herself in a one-on-one with the moderator. A debate would be preferred – as they should be mandatory for anyone seeking public office – but the opportunity allowed Lake to use the entire time to expand on her visions as governor.
One question came to the Super Bowl, which Arizona is slated to host in 2023. Lake would be sworn in a month before that spectacle, and has already stated her intentions to declare a border invasion once in office.
The left and media have already attacked that plan as "far-right" (despite 68% of Arizonans supporting it) and have called on the NFL to yank the Super Bowl from Arizona, should Lake prevail on November 8th.
The moderator then brought up Arizona’s refusal to acknowledge Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and the threat of the NFL to back out in the early 1990s, and connected politics to sports again with Lake’s bold vision.

Is their a presidency in the future for Kari Lake? She has the toughness of Margaret Thatcher.
Yes! She is a conservative woman and not afraid of responding to media attacks.
An increasingly woke NFL will plunge TV ratings and game attendance.
The Super Bowl has nothing to do with football and everything to do with selling alcohol.

Once you get within 100 days of the game....trying to move the game starts a discussion on cost factors, and someone (namely, the NFL itself) would have to cough up some cash. Then you have to discuss a court challenge, and perhaps a damages situation.
I don’t see the NFL having the ‘balls’ to attempt this.
It's not a fake schtick she is playing. It's very real. For the last nearly thirty years, she has watched idiotic and corrupt politicians and media people drone moronic lies and drivel. She has dissected those comments, often on air, and though through how she would have and should have fielded the question.
She is sincere and the real deal- or at least as close as it gets in politics.
She is also very shrewd when it comes to issues and messaging. It also helps that her opposition is mean. stupid and marginally sane. The Media throw Hobbs softball and T-Ball questions and she can barely swing and miss. Lake is a pro at hitting the curve balls they try to throw her way out of the park
Too bad GOP senior leadership is so aged, inept, and crooked.
People are dying with fentanyl. They can live without the NFL.
That is why I call this: “The New Republican Party”

Kari grew up on a farm at the end of a dead end gravel road in north central Iowa. She was one of nine kids in a family that was dirt poor.
Worked her way through college at the Univ of Iowa working for a commercial cleaning service.
Graduated and worked for WHO radio in Des Moines, IA. The same station that Ronald Reagon started at. Ended up moving to AZ. A hard working farm girl with a solid work ethic and a love of country.

She had it all working in that interview. If she wants it, she’s as marketable a national candidate as I’ve seen in a while. When you can have the soccer moms reaching for the puffs and salty old conservative ba$tards like me jumping out of our chairs, you’ve got something special.
A six year old would offer strong opinions and would be incapable of discourse like that. You do your granddaughter an injustice!
