I hope he gets the death penalty.
Bastardizing the judicial system.
You know, sometimes I skim headlines and misread them, and this was one of those time with my eyes seeing “Darrell Brooks” but my brain processing it as “David Brooks” (the wimpy pseudo-conservative on PBS Newshour famous for swooning over the crease of Obama’s slacks). I just couldn’t imagining the latter staring down anyone.
She isn’t controlling the courtroom.
She should simply rule that each every misbehaviour will give him a time-out and he can watch proceedings from another room.
Her honesty may result in a reversal on appeal.
It’s an expression of emotional bias.
It also honestly make women judges look bad. Just my take but it suggests that women are too timid to facedown murdering bastards and it’s a man’s job to do so.
Know that’s not PC to say but she should have thought her words through more.
But I’m in the medical field. So what do I know?

I’ve been watching the trial off and on. The killer is SO obnoxious and disorderly. The judge is VERY patient and gives him a lot of leeway. Many think that is so he can’t call for a mistrial.
I was surprised to hear that clip where she said “And frankly - it makes me scared.” She has never shown any fear or lost her composure as she answers him and he rants on and on and on.
He seems to have a disrespect for the law and human life in general.

IDK, but my first thought is that she called a recess to get more law enforcement in the room.
He’s trying to intimidate a judge and it appears to be working.
It’s up to the judge to set the rules in their court.
If I’m told to not put bubble gum on the table or I will have to watch proceedings from a tv screen, the judge rules.
Disgraceful for a judge to show fear. Women shouldn’t be judges.
Have they even ever gave a reason why it’s not classified as a hate crime?
He will probably use her comments as a basis for a new trial.
This case should be reassigned to another judge. If this is not possible, she should at least bar him from acting as his own lawyer. He’s earned it from his own misconduct.
This judge is failing to control her own courtroom.
She is WEAK as HELL!
I agree she is weak and he is exploiting that to claim he didn’t get a fair trial.
She’s done that twice
