Pennsylvania Democrat senate candidate and stroke victim John Fetterman finally released his medical record after weeks on the campaign trail spent struggling to speak in short and sometimes nonsensical outbursts.
There’s just one problem: that isn’t his medical record.
Actually, there are at least a couple more problems, but we’ll get to those in a sec.
The first and most obvious problem is… those are not his medical records, and you’d have to be a fool or a member of the press to believe they are. But I repeat myself. What the campaign released — here, in PDF form — is a one-page letter from Fetterman’s primary physician, Dr. Clifford Chen of Pittsburgh’s UPMC.
It’s basically a doctor’s note assuring voters that although he’s been sick, little Johnny can come to class today.
He just might not fully understand what the teacher says, according to Dr. Chen’s note:
"He spoke intelligently without cognitive deficits. His speech was normal and he continues to exhibit symptoms of an auditory processing disorder which can come across as hearing difficulty. Occasional words he will “miss” which seems like he doesn’t hear the word but it is actually not processed properly."
That letter doesn’t exactly inspire confidence for anyone who’s actually seen the candidate try and campaign.
That’s why last week, during his first post-stroke interview, Fetterman required “a large computer screen with closed captioning” to understand what NBC correspondent Dasha Burns was asking. “In small talk before my interview,” Burns said afterward, “it wasn’t clear he understood what I was saying.”

Oh, I thought it was something serious wrong with him.
The only problem is that instead of something really bad, like not being able to hear, he just can’t process the words? That’s different of course. No biggie, just a cognitive disorder kind of thingie.

Fetterman and his goiter are ready for a vacation to Washington DC where he can see how laws are made! After that he’ll go to the gift shop and buy a plaster capitol building he can put in his room...
I thought maybe it would be his CVS card.
I’d also like to hear an actual medical opinion on the odds of Fetterman having another stroke or stroke within the next 6 years, and whether the extremely high pressure of being a US Senator might worsen his odds. In my unprofessional opinion, electing Fetterman is likely to kill him.
Fetterman ain’t sick.

Will be interesting if during the debate Oz as a Doctor comments on this
statement.
Of course the moderator will call foul, but theres a big part of the population who will believe what he says over the note which in essence tries to cover that he’s got a hearing problem.

Fetterman’s wife can’t even pronounce “ableist”. She thinks it rhymes with “atheist”.
So I don’t think she had any idea such a thing even existed until someone told her she could accuse other people of it as a cudgel to tamp down on criticism.
So, the doctor has cleared Festerman for the senior field trip to D.C.?
I implore PA FReepers who are or have considered not voting for Oz. You must realize that sitting at home is a vote for Fetterman. No candidate is perfect. Go to Oz’s website and see where he stands on the issues. We all know where Fetterman stands. Please vote for what is best (not perfect) for PA!
Two friends of mine had the subsequent, fatal stroke, within a year.
Both were in their sixties.
This is not a “medical opinion” but it is true statistically that having one stroke elevates the risk of having another. Stress will elevate the risk further.
Heck Missouri elected a dead guy to the senate who identified as his wife, why all the fuss?
That report is very vague...like...numbers are good but he’s being treated and improving. The guy is not healthy...period.
Walks 4 or 5 miles a day?? Really?? Why haven’t we heard he’s a health nut before.
Give Fetterman a break! Sheesh!
People forget that there is not one registered Democrat who is not mentally deficient in one way or another.
THE DEMS HAVE DEMONSTRATED THAT THE COUNTRY CAN BE RUN BY COGNITIVELY DEFICIENT MEN AND WOMEN WHO CAN’T TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A MAN AND A WOMAN!
The dems have proven that they can survive in the face of their own deficiencies , even though the Chinese are barking at the door and the Russians are slaughtering as many Visigoths as they can.
All of which is why they will be hammered in these mid terms, and Oz will emerge victorious.
THE MSM can’t cover up the Dem mental deficiencies any longer because they have to speak live in public.
