Yes, Ol' PJ and the wife are heading for the southern Caribbean aboard the Celebrity Equinox from September 8 until September 17. I know it is a cruel thing to leave you bereft of the DUmmie FUnnies videos during that time period but I really need to recharge my batteries.
Being locked on a sea-going vessel with a bunch of open bars, an endless seafood buffet, girls in bikinis, a roiling ocean...and your wife.
I hope you live through it.;-)

They will have an outbreak of Covid. It seems to be a cruise thing.
We went on a cruise in August- make sue you go to the upgrades desk as we upgraded our cabin to concierge for just a few $$$ as people were dropping out of the cruise because of the Kung Flu
Not every cruise line has implemented that. I went on a cruise in August- all i needed to do was show a vax card- and that’s what i did. They never actually asked me if i was in fact i took a Kung Flu “vaccination” ;)

Please be advised that Al Gore and Barak Obama stated that more food gets wasted on a cruise ship that could feed poor families for a year. So what’s the response for a guy that works 50 weeks a year so that he’s earned to splurge? It’s easy. That critic can tell the cruise companies to open a soup kitchen.
Yup! Aqua Class which also gives us free access to the spa. My wife has never been in a steam bath nor sauna before so this will be new to her.

(Beginning with departures on September 5, 2022:
All travelers, regardless of vaccination status, can cruise with us on sailings departing from U.S. and Europe ports (excluding sailings that visit Canada).
Testing protocols will ease on our U.S. and Europe sailings.
- We will begin accepting self-tests on sailings from U.S. ports that don’t visit Canada and Bermuda, and on many Europe sailings.
- For sailings 9 nights or less, vaccinated guests will no longer need to test to board one of our ships, where destinations allow; and will have 3 days prior to boarding to test for sailings 10 nights or more.
- Unvaccinated guests ages 5 and older will need to test 3 days prior to boarding U.S. sailings (excluding Canada and Bermuda); and ages 12 and older for select Europe sailings.)
Every couple of weeks they keep extending the cruise nights for the vaccinated not having to get a Covid Test prior to boarding.
Late August we had to have a Covid test to board the Celebrity Millennium for a 7 night cruise.
Then there is the - where destinations allow; - so better check your particuliar cruise ports of call - you still may have to test.
You still have to have your “medical papers” - vax card - to show that you are vacinnated.
No longer required.

We have skin diving excursions on the first three islands so that is a lot of exercise. Actually I had a skin diving excursion scheduled for Curacao also but changed that so as to allow us time to visit the distillery which sells Curacao Blue liqueur which isn't available in the USA. Oh, and we can still go skin diving at Curacao but just not on an excursion.
I will not cruise anymore. Too many diseases on those things. Enjoy.
