Yes, Ol' PJ and the wife are heading for the southern Caribbean aboard the Celebrity Equinox from September 8 until September 17. I know it is a cruel thing to leave you bereft of the DUmmie FUnnies videos during that time period but I really need to recharge my batteries.

Enjoy the cruises now, because, when the democrats get their way with their insistence that everything has to be powered by electricity, the cruise ships will only be able to travel 50 miles each way. ;)

My only piece of advice (spent 10 months on an RCCL ship as a musician) is to wash your hands or hand sanitize, relentlessly. As you move around the ship, as you grab handrails that other people have touched, let’s just say that you have no idea who belonged to those hands and where those hands have been. Ultimately, you become more intimate with other peoples’ hygiene habits than anyone would ever want or even think about. There are restrooms everywhere, just make it a habit to step into one and wash your hands every hour. If you make a hike around the ship and grab handrails to climb stairs, get right into a washroom and wash your hands, and keep them out of your eyes.
