If you have followed my reporting you probably know about the protests happening in the Netherlands. Tens of thousands of farmers have taken to the streets to protest against new climate goals which will force farmers to shut down their farms.
They have set hay bales on fire on motorways and dumped manure and even blocked supermarket distribution centers.
According to calculations done by the Finance ministry, a whopping 11 200 livestock farmers will be forced to shut down by the government to reduce nitrogen emissions in order to meet European environmental rules. Another 17 600 farmers would need to reduce the amount of animals they keep to meet these climate goals.

There is no proof that man-made Climate Change is real. But for a moment let’s assume that there is proof. If India and China will not cooperate, nothing that the little Netherlands does will matter.

Normally, this level of abject stupidity would automatically disqualify someone from running for office. But nnnoooo!!! Not the times we live in.

Look up the movie or it’s trailer “Tread”, a real story of a man who went next level revenge with an excavator. The Netherlands farmers should do this with 10,000 of them. I’d pay top dollar to watch that go down.
Perhaps we could organize such an event for the true believers. They should be willing to sacrifice themselves to protect Mother Earth. We’ll even give them a trophy and call them heroes if they jump.

I have been saying this for months. Saving the dollar for Uncle Scam and going to war with Russia in Ukraine for the US/UK is going to kill them. Now, they also banned Russian coal, on which the EU was even more dependent than Russian gas.
The EU is facing 30% crop loss already in a harvest that was 215% more expensive to produce because of seed/fertilizer/diesel costs. The entire Arborio rice crop in Italy is expected to be lost and the Po Valley rice fields are said to be potentially damaged forever.
The EU is headed for a MAJOR disaster in October as the harvest (or what’s left of it) hits, and of the 215% more expensive crop, 40% will gone with no replacements (except from Russia or Canada). With no Russian coal and places like Germany 47% dependent (others are up to 100% dependent) and reduced gas, then the EU will have 60% less electricity - NPPs in France are in trouble and in Germany they might not be able to extend the last 3 NPPs since they rely on uranium from... Russia!
In the Age of Peak Stupidity, the EU takes the cake. No food, no heat, no electricity, no industry therefore, no jobs. That sounds like an awesome recipe for disaster. AND, Scholz said yesterday he was not expecting revolts... LOL!
