The New York Times Opinion actually published a shocking project where eight of their columnists admitted they were wrong about either economics, tech, foreign affairs or politics. At the top of the list was none other than “transitory” inflation gaslighter Paul Krugman.
The Times’s economic columnist published an op-ed with a headline that didn’t beat around the bush – for a change – and acknowledged how bad his unrealistic takes on the inflation crisis were for the past year. “I Was Wrong About Inflation,” says the headline. The disgruntled economist actually conceded that Biden’s irresponsible $1.9 trillion stimulus package was inflationary, despite his earlier objections to the contrary. “Some warned that the package would be dangerously inflationary; others were fairly relaxed," Krugman wrote. “I was Team Relaxed. As it turned out, of course, that was a very bad call.” Krugman’s latest concession comes after recent news that inflation spiked 9.1 percent year-over-year in June, wiping out estimates of an 8.8-percent increase.

So, Krug has no idea what he is talking about, but he will keep on talking, berating everyone who disagrees with him along the way.
Ironically, this the first time that he is actually right. (That he was wrong..)
We had a guy in the design engineering department. He would make a bonehead mistake and say “my bad” can we just correct it and keep going? Management put up with that for way too long. I finally aggravated the idiot enough to quit.
Mission accomplished!
He’s been wrong on everything - his political bias is a losing strategy.
This is the correct take.
An honorable man would resign in disgrace.
But this is Krugman, so…..
L
“However, I will continue to say wildly incorrect things to help out Joe Biden,” Mr. Krugman added.
Who knew?
All right, everybody knew.
The stimulus packages were oil on the fire at the beginning. Other things have made it worse. The stimulus packages passed under Trump and Biden planted the seeds of inflation by dumping trillions of dollars into the economy without anywhere to spend it because of the COVID shutdown. As the economy started to recover you had all that money that people were ready to spend and a supply chain not yet ready to support it. Toss in the oil shutdown and supply chain issues and the increased government spending on things like the infrastructure package and we were going to get inflation regardless. It didn't have to be as high as it turned out to be.
He’s predictable because he’s wrong about everything.
It goes to show you the Nobel Prize is essentially worthless because this clown got one for economics back in 2008. He’s been touting the leftist economic drivel for decades and he sees the disaster that it is leading to and he wants off the Titanic. This is all about him realizing he needs to save his “legacy” for posterity sake.
Krugman has been wrong...pretty much forever, and his positions shift depending on which party is in power.
The REAL headline will be if he ever gets anything right!
On the evening of Trump’s election victory Krugman said the stock market would never recover. Seriously……he said that.
Well sh1t - I know more about economics than you do Krugman.
Can I have your Nobel Prize cash?

I thought not.
When they lie, they say were just mistaken. Not buying it.
He supposedly is the worlds greatest economist......To liberals.
My eyesight isn’t as good and I thought it called Krugman an “inflation gangster.” But that still works.
