As food inflation worsens, a sense of desperation is seizing the minds of the American people, and some of them are lashing out in acts of violence against workers at grocery stores and other food retail locations. America is now seeing a shocking rise in retail location violence that seems destined to only get worse.
Joe Biden’s catastrophic economic and energy policies have led to a 400% increase in the price of fertilizer, a 100% increase in the price of diesel fuel, supply chain disruptions and food production shortfalls. Even infant formula has been in a supply chain crisis, and the cost of agricultural inputs today means far higher prices in the coming months.
The result is record high food inflation that keeps getting worse. Higher costs of food gobble up higher percentages of discretionary incomes for consumers, hitting low-income consumers especially hard. When food prices rise to the point of requiring 50% of a person’s income just to eat, history tells us that societies break down and lurch into uprisings and revolts.

Yeah weird, what’s up with the Bounty thing? Higher prices? They’re packing full tree trunks.
Yep. Gonna come to that soon, I think. One reason I always carry, and my head is on a swivel when I exit the store.
I live in kentucky. Nothing’s changed. The grocery stores are like they were years ago.
I read your post and said to myself, I bet he’s in california. And I noticed you are. I think California is going to be our Canary in the coal mine for this whole thing. It certainly has been for gas.

They still have their cell, computer, and fast food, It’s ALL they think they need, Ramen Noodles have no NUTRITION in them, so they’ll starve. And if they think they have the skills to try to take what is mine.....oh, well, 1 less whiney liberal.
I cleared out my sewing room. It is now the Food room. I’m canning, as the crap on the shelves has 6-9 months expiration dates. A full 18 yr old 13 Cubic foot freezer. Spices, flour, 5-gallon buckets of various dry beans, pasta, Oil lamps, I use Tiki oil, cheaper than Kerosene, easier to find. Very little short-term stuff. I can make biscuits, and cornbread, and eat beans just like my grands did with 8 kids. 6 girls, and 2 boys, they scoured the woods for wild berries. and nuts. Lived in a good size farmhouse, with a storm cellar, where canned food was stored on shelves, a Wood cook stove, pot belly for heat, Grandpa put in a kitchen hand pump, collected rainwater that went into the cistern, Well water, chickens/coop. Large garden. Plus she worked at the local shirt factory, the scraps became quilts. Girls wore flour sack bloomers and boys’ shirts. Everyone worked to keep food on the table. Grandpa had Black Lung bad, So he ran the house. No electricity. Not one had more than 5-8th grade education. Grandma had no education.
Ever take a bath in a #10 washtub?
Starvation News. Our motto: No starvation, no clicks.
Sad, I can’t afford to move out. I’ll be like the East German spy of the cold war. Nothing I can do.
Nexium was $23.99 3 days ago, it rose $6 today, It is a must-have med, Tricare Life no longer covers it, Those supposed 20mg boxes are 10 mg, deceptive practice, I need 40 mg. Thanks to the OA, and several other drugs destroying my gastro tract. Even if they take out Barrett’s Esophagus pre-cancer spots I’d still need to take it, no switching, the other 3, I react to.
Yeah well, sadly until America takes back the pharma and manufactures in AMERICA all of us will be dealing with what China and other countries choose to deliver.
You’d think the danged “Pandemic” would have awakened a few idiots that over 93% of all pharma is imported. But someone( some people) have chosen to enslave America(ns) and make us a vassal state of the NWO...I’d like to be proven wrong on this.
President Retard did that 🤪
I use the equate brand 20mg esomeprazole magnesium for a lot less $
A lot of tall and thin drinks in the coolers in the store.
Me too.
Last year, the FBI said, more than half of active shooter attacks — in which an individual with a gun is killing or trying to kill people in a busy area — occurred in places of commerce, including stores.
... said she had recently noticed that regular customers were walking out the door without paying for items. “It’s like a disease,” she said. 'When there are no consequences, some people think: Why should I pay if others are not?'
Matthew Fernandez, 49, who works at a King Soopers in Broomfield, Colorado, said he was stunned when he watched a thief walk out with a cart full of makeup, laundry detergent and meat and drive off in a Mercedes-Benz SUV.
This increase in retail theft and violence is raising retailer costs which they in turn pass on to paying consumers. Thus, this is only adding to the price inflation we are already experiencing.
Yes, I take that. I’m stocking up while price seems low. I can take omeprazole magnesium also, but not omeprazole delayed release — doesn’t get absorbed enough to do any good. Most script plans do seem to cover 40 mg prescription omeprazole, which does work for me, but the copays are more than the Walmart OTC price of generic Nexium!
I am so screwed.
Been stocking since 2021. AMMO too.
