Ukraine Should Admit Defeat NOW! Says Top U.S Military Leader
The Jimmy Dore Show via Youtube ^ | 6/11/22 | Jimmy Dore

Despite all the effusive praise the brave Ukrainian military has received in the western press, extolling all the humiliating defeats the Ukrainians have dealt the Russians, the reality on the ground appears to be entirely in Russia’s favor. And that reality was acknowledged on a recent Council of Foreign Relations Zoom call by retired lieutenant general and former deputy commander of United States European Command Stephen Twitty, who told the other neocons on the call that Ukraine simply cannot win this war and needs to sue for peace as soon as possible.

“There were so many MSM news articles on AZOV and others in Ukraine for years, about how evil they were, how they mustn’t be armed, and all that went out the window.

Go figure.”

The French medic who went to Ukraine to help the Ukrainians was shocked at all the war crimes he personally saw the Ukrainians commit. He is personally putting himself in danger by reporting this. He even covers the shelling at Bucca and indicates it came from the Ukrainians.

He personally watched and filmed the Ukrainians taking Russian POWs from vans carrying 3 or 4 at a time...asking them if they were officers. If they said no they were shot in the knee. If they said yes they were shot in the head.

He told the French government about it and the French media. They wouldn’t touch it because it went against the narrative the West is pushing.

Here’s another look at the people the West is supporting:

Reagan would never have agreed to NATO offensively bombing Libya on Obama’s behalf on unproven allegations that Gaddafi was going to kill 10k of his own people as Libya wasnt attacking NATO members and going rigue on other missions as well.

And Reagan wouldn’t have agrees to Obama’s Obama’s numerous wars, proxy or not.

So I doubt he would be invilved with Ukraine as he would surely know Putin won’t attack the NATO member mations surrounding Ukraine.

You’re a neocon, the Soviet Ynion is gone, Russia isn’t communist now, and you’re not a Reaganite.

I am well aware of Boeing, and GE, and Pratt, Rolls Royce, and numerous others ( including our own defense contractors) unable to produce without Russian commodities and metals. Let’s say I know the aerospace and defense industry “intimately “.
That said, we ( our industries) are just now beginning to realize the historic grave consequences of vegetable heads Sanctions and weaponizing the dollar. We have not seen the worst yet either….going to get critical as the “ just in time” material and supply philosophy adopted by the Aerospace industry adopted a decade ago fails, big time.

Ironically, Airbus somehow still has access to Vlads hoard of metals and commodities, they aren’t saying how, but it is rumored they are paying Vlad dearly in Rubles.

There is more, Russia ( Aeroflot) flys a huge fleet of Airbus
aircraft, contrary to fake western news, it appears they have NOT stopped shipping them parts totally, they found alternate under the public radar methods and routes ( Turkey and other non western third party) and as Russia announced they will manufacture their own parts ( they manufacture almost all of Boeings titanium forgings in two joint venture plants in Russia- Boeing built them) but guess who will train them?

…..and as said all along, Vlad continues to say Checkmate to vegetable head Joe, again, and again…any comments from the bad Vlad and war cheerleader crowd? You have been had by senile a Joe, again.

“You are correct for once, Twitty’s plan to use the US navy and NATO navy ships to drive the Russians back out of the Black Sea is a really good idea. “

LOL, Turkey already told us that we’re not welcome in the Black Sea, so, so much for your wet dream.

It wasn’t his criticism that I took issue with but the illogical, personal attack, Ad Hom attacks style of criticism of Twitty from him which showed the weakness of his arguments I took issue with, as I showed in my posts to him.

Get logic and then you’ll think at a higher level. Come back then.

This is not the conservatism he bequeathed us.
——-
This is not Regans America. Boys in girls sports, men in woman’s bathrooms, gay marriage, trannies in every government agency and military, take a look around, at least Russia has the higher moral ground by codifying into law fines and prison for the deviant, immoral behavior listed. The Russian Congress ( Duma) passed laws years ago to protect their society from this suicide, yes suicide. At our current rate of moral decline, it is clear to see Russia will be around much much longer than our fallen nation.

Thanks for all your input.

What we can now see is Daily Mail and the other usual sources for the Neocons here have been lying to the world. Remind them of General Twitty and what he said whenever they try to lie about how Ukraine isn’t losing badly.

Here is an example of my response to freezeandfreesing that shows what we have to deal with here:

Me responding to freezeandfreezing:

“It wasn’t his [Apparatchik’s] criticism [of Twitty] that I took issue with but the illogical, personal attack, Ad Hom attacks style of criticism of Twitty from him which showed the weakness of his [Appararchik’s] arguments I took issue with, as I showed in my posts to him. Get logic and then you’ll think at a higher level. Come back then.”

So, again, with the Ad Homs against Twitty, me, and us here, the neocons here are clearly watching too much MSNBC as they use the same illogical Emotional Appeals in the end when someone like Twitty destroys their position. They use personal attacks, Emotional Appeals, and deflect from what someone like Twitty is saying.

I, too, have heard of this hair-brained ‘Just-in-time” concept. Probably not too bad for the Japanese when they made VCRs, but not so great for critical military products.

I suspect the same is in place for military hardware production of weapons, such as Stingers and Harpoons - why warehouse a whole bunch of them when you can simply make more when needed? Well, that is until you realize that the country you just decided to go to war with provides critical links in your supply chain. I guess they never figured on that. And that doesn’t even get in obsolescence issues...so we’re two to three years out before we can replace everything that we just dumped in Ukraine (unless Russia is willing to sell us back what they’re capturing, or we know where to look on the Black Market).

And how about these pencil-heads thinking they could use GPS for precision-guided munitions. Works well against goat-herders, not so well against a country that can jam and spoof GPS, as the Ukrainians are learning at the cost of body-bags...even if the pencil-heads aren’t willing to admit their idiocy.

Kyiv stands. Ukraine has won. All Russia can do now rape and pillage in the finest Russian tradition of banditry.
——-
Huh? Ukraine has won??? Their country is in ruins, Air Force destroyed, Army in shambles, economy destroyed, begging for men, arms, ammo, 20 percent of their territory occupied by Ivan, ( the Independent Donbass provinces are won already - 95 percent)….doesn’t sound like winning.

Vlad has done most of what he stated he will do in his 24th Feb address ( you would do well to read it). The Donbass now has their Independence from Ukraine, the Neo Nazi’s largely defeated, the corrupted beggar Zelensky has already stated no NATO ( Vlad is further insuring that by depleting the Ukie military, destroyed virtually ALL of the Ukies weapons plants early on).

The only question now - will Vlad decide to eat Odessa for lunch? He has been very restrained, many calls by the Russian Nationalists, hard liners and public to take Odessa. I believe he should, it is the only guarantee the corrupted little beggar Zelensky will not go back on his promise and not join NATO- Ukraine violated the Minsk agreements they signed in 2014- the main cause of this war.

“There will be zero chance for Ukraine to exist a few years down the road when Russia does this all over again, just from a better starting position.”

Actually, my sources are telling me that Russia has no plans to stop, as there is NO WAY they can trust Ukraine or the West with any agreement, so they’ll get it done and over with in one shot.

Bottom line - by the end of the year, according to them, Poland will have Western Ukraine (per agreement with Russia), and other countries may have smaller pieces. The remnants of what was Ukraine, including Kiev, will have another puppet government, this time reporting to Moscow, instead of the Neocons.

Wrong again...their logo is a stylized version of the flag used by the Greek Orthodox Church, with heraldry dating back to Byzentine Emporer John VIII Palaiologos, the Defender of Constantinople.

Interestingly, just the other day Czar Putin was modestly comparing himself to Peter the Great. Not some Byzantine emperor. Russian imperialism is what is on the menu here. No need for gaslighting distractions because Putinist Russia has been exposed to world for what it is: a Potemkin nation with banality at its core.

Well, if you are correct, then we should maximize whatever opportunity remains to wreck Russia by proxy. Start sending over more anti-ship missiles, etc.. Then do whatever else we can to cripple them economically.

Whenever the actual fighting stops, keep every possible sanction on them. End flyover rights, end cultural/scientific/educational visas for Russians, etc.. If they don't want to play nice with other kids, then let them play with themselves.

Reality- Russia is in need of nothing, food, grain, commodities, metals, NG, diesel, gas, energy, rare earths, noble gas, etc…they have what the west needs. They are major exporters in every sector. I bet you also think the Ukies are winning?

You live in a fantasy world. Nuclear powered Russia can barely defeat Ukrainian farmers. Ukraine doesn’t have a Navy yet still managed to sink the Russian flag ship Moskva. How hilarious is that? That will do wonders for Russia’s arms sales. No doubt.

30 years after the cold war and Russia, the biggest country in the world, still has an economy of a large US state. Because of Putin’s murderous kleptocracy it will be the same after another 30. Guaranteed.

Read this today...found it interesting.

NATO faced in Europe with the most powerful electronic suppression of aviation and air defense systems.

Eastern European NATO countries are under the influence of unknown EW assets. This is reported by the ADS-B Exchange service, according to which the greatest electronic interference is recorded on the territory of Romania, Bulgaria and Moldova. These are the places of the greatest concentration of NATO bases, through which military assistance to Ukraine goes.

The service notes that now the airspace over Bulgaria and Romania is under the most dense influence of electronic warfare of an unknown type. The most serious failures in the operation of global positioning equipment are recorded at altitudes from 4 to 11 thousand meters.

After the activation of unknown electronic warfare equipment, US and NATO aircraft no longer appeared in these areas. The experts managed to establish that the EW coverage radius is about 700 km, and there is no electronic interference beyond this zone.

What? Reagan (and Trump) bombed hell out of Russians and their proxies. Russia may not be communist (it’s a fascist one party dictatorship) but they are more than happy to threaten us with nuclear war. Frequently.

I’m a peace through strength Reagan conservative and couldn’t care less what Chomskite Kremlin bootlickers think of us. Frankly, your insults are a badge of honor.

Since you are being civil this time, I’ll go through your comments one-by-one:

“Well, if you are correct, then we should maximize whatever opportunity remains to wreck Russia by proxy.”

As long as Ukrainians don’t mind dying for a hopeless cause, then sure, why not, since that means that they don’t even value their own lives.

“Start sending over more anti-ship missiles, etc.”

We can, but we’re already way down from our relatively tiny inventory that we started with. I believe between 25% and 33% of those types of items are gone, and it will take at least two years to replace them (since we didn’t see a need to keep production lines open). As I said early this evening, Just-in-Time is great for VCRs, not so great for military hardware.

“Then do whatever else we can to cripple them economically.”

We’ve already proven that we are perfectly capable of crippling ourselves with ‘sanctions’, as Russia is literally doing a bit better now, economically, than at the start of the war, while energy prices are going through the roof in the West. Russia even restarted their Lada production line, but without the bells and whistles that drive up the US price to $42k (average) now. There’s is FAR CHEAPER...and Boeing just closed down 737 Max production, as they’re out of Russian-supplied Titanium.

“Whenever the actual fighting stops, keep every possible sanction on them.”

It’s more likely that when the fighting stops that Europe will be starving and freezing, and will come begging to Moscow to re-start their pipelines. The price that Europe will pay for this service will be very simple - removal of the US military, no more NATO (yet another Trump victory, by the way).

End flyover rights, end cultural/scientific/educational visas for Russians, etc.

I actually agree on the cultural/scientific/educational visas, as these date back well into the Cold War when the Soviets would come here to learn Nuclear and other engineering, but we would go over there and only be allowed to learn Russian history and language.

As to flyovers, considering their size, we get FAR MORE from them than they do from us...yet another case of us shooting ourselves in the foot.
