My day started as it usually does, way too early in the morning. I hopped on the scale to monitor my body weight, then jumped on the computer to see what was happening on this big blue marble.
I should have stayed in bed.
It started, as all too many real-life horror stories do, on Twitter. That’s where I saw this:
That’s right, she wants “verified” and “trustworthy” people to be able to go and essentially edit what other people tweet as a way to provide “context.”
In other words, she wants people to be able to change whatever they want on Twitter, to provide “context.”

She’d become a veeerrrrrrry busy person correcting the 100 million tweets per day which she deemed ‘disinformational’.
Those in power.
Information controls the masses. If you can manipulate it you can control a population. This is why they are apoplectic about the twitter buyout and the threat of free speech dominating their outlets like the legacy media and social media.
What Musk did cannot be underestimated, which is why Biden is trying to stop it.
All she is aware of is her world view. She wants "trusted" and "verified" people - ie. people who think just like her. Her world view is so parochial she has no concept that to many others these very same people are not trusted, not believed at all.
Worse, she apparently lacks the ability to envision what an absolute horror such tyrannical power represents. Perhaps the thought exercise of telling her "Fine, you get to set up your trusted/verified people aka ministry of truth and disinformation. However, the moment you set it up and they have all this power, we are going to put your worst enemies in charge of it. Now, does it still sound like a good idea?"
The reality is, no matter how much it sounds like such a great idea and good thing - to some people out there it would be having their worst enemies in charge. There is no group you could put in charge, no set of standards, that would be universally accepted. If there was such agreement, there would be no need. It is the very difference of opinions, priorities, etc. that leads to the conflict. Apparently we (as a society) have lost the notion of real tolerance. Lost the ability to simply agree to disagree. Lost the ability to accept diversity. Now everyone must be forced into compliance and obedience. Statues torn down, free speech restricted, control of our very bodies taken away by mandates. Snowflakes are born - when they don't get their way, when they actually encounter diversity or opposition or a setback, they perceive themselves as victims. The mere thought of things not aligning with their world view makes them a victim rather than simply a fact of life.
AI will handle that.
We shouldn’t even be having this debate. Free speech is free speech— period!
She’ll never get away with it.. The entire project won’t survive , perhaps not even begin operations. It’s fr’kn ridiculous.
20-25% max (like always) will love the chance to dictate beliefs. The rest of the country will be further alienated from Biden & Co. and Ds will realize it’s gonna’ make matters worse for them in Nov. Operation shiitecanned.
