Ukraine 7 (vanity)

Some things about Russia’s Special Military Operation in Ukraine:

1.It has been reported by CNN, and I have felt the same way for some time as well, that Russia may declare war on Ukraine. I assume that if that were to happen we would see massive destruction of the infrastructure in Western Ukraine including all communications infrastructure, electrical generation, bridges, rail, etc. Russia has really been soft with Ukraine so far in an effort to protect innocent Ukrainians but the ongoing killing and abuse of Eastern Ukrainians by Ukrainonazis hiding among civilians may be too much to bear.

2.I dream of a day…a day that we almost had a few decades ago…when Russia joins a security pact with the USA. I remember when rumors of asking Russia to join NATO circulated decades ago. Biden and the West seem to be led by Joseph Goebbels as there is always a boogeyman that they are creating to cause fear among the people. And this fear is used to control us. We need a friendship with Russia and not a climate of fear and hate.

A little closer to reality.

1. Yes. And somethings amiss here.

2. Read the Perestroika deception, and Jeff Nyquist’s work.

“We need a friendship with Russia and not a climate of fear and hate.”

With the present climate between all involved, I dont see that happening.
What I see is more escalation resulting in even a nuclear exchange.

Unless somebody with guts steps forward to broker at least a cease fire, nothing but war will continue.

The Ukraine will have to acknowledge its radical groups problem first before any type of cease fire will be brought. Because without that acknowledgement, no cease fire will hold since these groups will continue on fighting if the present leader of the Ukraine agrees to any cease fire.
They will assassinate him.

As far as Russia is concerned. They will need to remove the present government leaders for any cease fire to become successful.

Any of this will have to be brokered without the involvement of the United States..in fact the present United States representatives must be BANNED from any involvement. This government (USA) is the key to the problem within that region.

Unless something changes in a big hurry, the US is going to be the first nation in history to experience a famine and a nuclear war at the same time... Breadline Joe is working on it.

1. ...Russia has really been soft with Ukraine so far in an effort to protect innocent Ukrainians...
Nonsense. Russia has been targeting civilians like the maternity ward and train stations packed with people. Over 5 million Ukrainians have fled , for their lives to other countries to escape the invading Russian war machine. We were on vacation a couple of weeks ago and the place we stayed at was sheltering a Ukrainian war refugee and her two boys.
2.I dream of a day…a day that we almost had a few decades ago…when Russia joins a security pact with the USA. I remember when rumors of asking Russia to join NATO circulated decades ago.
The only villain in your dream is Vladimir Putin who is vehemently, and as we see - violently, opposed to NATO. What you are calling for is the Russian people to get rid of Putin. The Putin Stooges won't attack you for siding with NATO though. Because you are a useful stooge to the stooges.

That's the reason the Russians are reluctant to finish taking out the steel plant in Mariupol with all of those hostages they are holding, much to the frustration of this soldier.

America’s narrow-minded deep-state ideologues have pushed China and Russia into each-others arms.

The die were cast in 2008 when Bush insisted it was American policy to eventually get Ukraine into NATO. Another strategic failure this fake-conservative and idiot foisted upon us. Please tell me HOW this involves or benefits the USA?

The irony is, to “protect Ukraine” the USA is now happily willing to DESTROY Ukraine to keep the Russian bear agitated and occupied. And Ukraine will be destroyed - no doubt.

“Russia has been targeting civilians like the maternity ward...”

Totally untrue. Media have cooperated with Zelensky’s administration to deliberately mislead the public with “false flags.”

Here is the truth about the “maternity ward” story “straight from the horses mouth.”

Misinformation, as usual. There is witness testimony that the maternity hospital has been emptied by Azov and then used as a base to fire on the advancing Russian Army. Then the Russian Army is blamed for it when they shot back.

Likewise, witness statements point to the Azov battalion taking over the Theater in Mariupol and firing on civilians and Russian soldiers, but the media and Zelenskyy fan boys immediately blame Russia, and then the simple minded ppl on this forum fall for it hook, line, and sinker. 🤣

The train station was destroyed by a Ukrainian missile, based on the facts, yet you’re still blaming the Russians for it. I guess Germany doesn’t have any news sources available to their citizens. That’s the only rational explanation I can find for your inability to accept reality. 🤣

From your link:
Marianna Podgurskaya gave an interview where she said that there was no air strike on the maternity hospital, and "The Associated Press" journalists were ready in advance.
There are video reports of the attack. This woman from Donetsk is a Putin/Russia supporter. Do you have anyone credible? Because saying there was no attack is ridiculous. Especially since we have seen many missile attacks on civilians since then.

Trump joins Biden in calling Russia’s war on Ukraine ‘genocide’

Trump elaborated on his comments later in the interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity saying,

“This is a genocide that’s taking place.”

I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt since this may be new info for you. But, to suggest a woman who was in a bombing attack is lying because she supports Putin is more than a bit of a stretch.

She made it clear the damage came from a shell and if you look carefully at the photos the damage to the facility is more along the lines of windows blown and debris flying...no direct hit, no caved in structure. There was a large crater in the parking lot in front of it so likely that was what took the full brunt of the shell.

In other interviews I have seen of her on the internet she says that the other woman also said she only heard two explosions and that she asked the Ukrainian military about it in the morning and they said there was no bomb; it was a shell.

The Ukrainian military had taken over the “hospital” as they have been doing everywhere....hospitals; children’s parks (two tanks parked right next to the swings and slides.) They use civilians as shields because apparently they believe the Russians try to avoid civilians.

BTW, interviews with residents of Mariople have repeatedly said that the Ukrainians have forced them to stay in their houses (usually in the basement) and then use their homes as “firing positions.” Using civilians as shields is a war crime.

When you get over your initial discomfort at hearing that you have been completely misled you should do some research about what has been really going on. If you would like help, I am willing to private message you lots of info that the media has been censoring in order to maintain their narrative.

Last, ask yourself why the Associated Press reporters who hounded this woman for interviews chose not to publish ANY of them; but instead chose to maintain the Russia bombs maternity hospital lie.

The other poster is right (and there is plenty of evidence to support this on the internet) none of the claims that Russia engaged in war crimes is true. Not the maternity hospital story, not the Drama Theatre story, not the train station, not Bucca, not the Mall attack, etc.

Zelensky’s administration and his neo-nazi troops are winning in one aspect of the war...PR!

To say Russia has been soft on Ukraine is simply ignorance. My brother in law’s apartment in Kharkov was damaged on day 2 even though no military target was close to the flat block. Ukraine is a large country and all sections have been bombed. My nephew is in Lvov and the Russians tried to bomb the rail yard near him and hit civilian housing nearby. In the Russian occupied areas the atrocities have been under-reported. Murder, rape, looting, and vandalism have commonly occurred in town after town.

Russia has been “soft” with Ukraine because its air force cannot fly over most of it with impunity. Hence Russia has been limited to using cruise missiles and ballistic missiles for “precision” strikes at point targets instead of city-levelling dumb bomb attacks. There arent enough cruise missiles and ballistic missiles to do general destruction, no matter how much the Russians would like to. Where Russian artillery can be got into range its certainly levelled dozens of small towns, plus large parts of Kharkiv. And its certainly destroyed almost everything in Mariupol.
