If Mr. “he/him/his” is a citizen, by this direct attack upon judicial integrity and independence, “he/him/his” has committed an act of Treason against the Constitution.

Why wouldn’t it be 5-3? If we assume it was a majority opinion and that she was in the minority then the vote would be 5-3 not 4-4. The ruling stands.

It is a given that a law clerk leaked it. What is not a given, was the law clerk told to leak it by a supreme court judge? If such, the judge should be impeached and removed.

What the leaker did is actually actionable (a crime).

Actually, I think there will be consequences for this person- whoever they are. The integrity of the Court has been trashed- what happened is catastrophic to the institution and Roberts knows it. They have the Federal Marshalls and the fbi investigating.
I think they’ll be disbarred and publicly humiliated. There are clerks on both sides that are furious about this. As far as criminal charges, I’m not sure what is at stake for this- but this is a big deal- if a crime can be proven, I bet it will be charged.
Or...we’re really sunk. We’ll see.
No I don’t think he’ll be a hero not in the law community because lawyers wow their work depends on being able to keep things secret and what is somebody hire this guy and he just decides that he doesn’t like the way his boss is handling this case it leaks everything. Real lawyers will understand that and he’ll never get hired. Assuming that he was the one that did it
