We Are Now At War With Russia [Karl Denninger]

Yup, and we are stupid. This is about the dumbest thing we could have done, and I am astonished to see that so many people on our "side" has gone along with the mass hysteria.

Congress has not been following the constitution for many many decades.

Why change now.

What a mess. Our government is corrupt and way too many citizens are morally corrupt. Who are they to take our tax dollars and wage war?

Under that logic we should have attacked Russia and China for sending arms to North Vietnam and North Korea.

FIFTY BILLION and counting. The WARMONGERS and the low-information types driven by the WAR DRUMS and OMNIPRESENT PROPAGANDA are rejoicing. Rejoicing while they complain of high prices and wonder how so many people are becoming wealthy so suddenly.

In those two wars there was no realistic means for the Germans or other Axis powers to hit us directly on our own soil.

So, Pearl Harbor never happened?

Karl Denninger is a fool.

https://www.historynet.com/hitler-declared-war-united-states/

On the one hand, Hitler repeatedly ordered restraint on the German navy to avoid incidents in the Atlantic that might prematurely bring the United States into the war against Germany. Whatever steps the Americans might take in their policy of aiding Great Britain, Hitler would not take these as a pretext to go to war with the United States until he thought the time proper: American lend-lease legislation no more affected his policy toward the United States than the simultaneous vast increase in Soviet assistance to Germany influenced his decision to go to war with that country.

As a result, Hitler was caught out of town at the time of Pearl Harbor and had to get back to Berlin and summon the Reichstag to declare war. His great worry, and that of his foreign minister, Joachim von Ribbentrop, was that the Americans might get their declaration of war in ahead of his own. As Ribbentrop explained it, “A great power does not allow itself to be declared war upon; it declares war on others.”

But I wouldn't expect our Russian bots to actually *know* history.

One of the major reasons we became directly involved in WWII, was the Japanese saw how successful the Germans were.

They thought: if we are going to get our share of the new world order, we have to act as aggressively and as forcefully as the Germans, in the Pacific.

They believe the war would be short and a new arrangement would be diplomatically reached, which acknowledged their superiority and sphere of influence. They believed they needed the raw materials and markets of the Pacific under their control, in order to survive and thrive.

All of it made a sort of sense. It simply turned out, most of their assumptions were wrong.

Hitler tried to keep us out of the war. Raeder and Doenitz repeatedly tried to get permission to fire on American ships. They both knew that we had a hand in sinking the Bismarck and that we were escorting UK bound convoys almost to Iceland. Hitler ignored them. FDR had hoped a German action would be causus belli but that never happened. In Korea the presence of Soviet piloted MIG 15s did not cause us to go after the USSR.Our problem here is on our side we have a
dementia handicapped puppet POTUS with a totally amateur, unskilled, and ideologically driven staff. On the other side there is an insane leader with no outside limits placed on him. Even at his worst Stalin had to consider the Politburo.

I believe that the weapons are excluded under the 2nd amendment from being under federal control. Of course they have tried everything to neuter it and the courts have allowed it.
