Despite all the talk about disney, Hollywood, media, war, biden, putin, Rihanna, slapping, masking etc
Maybe we can have some fun today
What is the worst movie you ever watched?
I can agree some movies are so bad that they are funny, certainly you can include those too.
FELLINI-SATYRICON poorly dubbed in English. In Italian it is rather interesting.
“Hobo with a Shotgun”
I liked that one. Over the top blood and gore. Rutger Hauer had fallen a long way.
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (?)
Couldn’t understand a word .
I talked my brother into going to the The Hound of the Baskervilles (the 1978 version). Did not do my homework and did not realize it was a (horrible, terrible) spoof.
Nazis on the Moon ...
No you aren’t the only one. I still love it - I like thinking of that time period in Northern Africa. Also, if you have ever been involved with an attached woman, you know the psychological hell that results from the dynamic. I also don’t mind the “present day” parts of the story as well.
Excellent movie really. However, I still love the Seinfeld episode where they make fun of it.
Second only to Plan 9!
Pokemon the Movie.
Biggest bomb in Hollywood
Don't forget The Emoji Movie.
I disagree. One of the greatest cinematic movies made. Young Orson Welles invented dozens of new techniques still used today along with camera lenses, etc.
That’s right about what you’d expect of the worst movie ever made.
Truly aweful.
THE DUNWICH HORROR(1970) A great H.P. Lovecraft tale ruined and made dull. Not worth a waste of two hours.
Debunked. They were all heavy smokers.
Wow. I loved the first three.
Oceans 12, Snowpiercer and the Exorcist.
Women of the Prehistoric Planet(1966)
So bad it deserves special mention. Some people are frozen ice but if you look you can see them shift around. Volcanic eruption was a joke. Strictly for very young kids!
WOW! Now lots of real stinkers are coming to mind!
CAPTAIN SINBAD
The 4th Star Wars movie with Jar-Jar Binks. A movie made strictly for kids.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit...
This movie is my litmus test (sans questionnaire) for the Myers-Briggs Typology:
iNtuiting types tend to like (or love) movies like this; Sensing types tend to dislike (or despise) ones like this.
I am an INTJ [Introverted/iNtuiting/Thinking/Judging: “Mastermind”], and “WFRR?” is one of my favorites. My longtime friend is an INFP [Introverted/iNtuiting/Feeling/Perceiving: “Mediator”], and it is her all-time favorite.
In contrast, I am indifferent to many movies that the Sensing-predominant culture consider great - and I actively despise Woody Allen and Quentin Tarentino movies.
When that thing jumped out of the guy’s belly, I left “Alien” never to return.
