There’s an old saying that the mills of God grind slowly but they grind exceedingly small. It is a reminder that, sometimes, long-delayed justice does eventually arrive. In this case, it’s beginning to appear that Special Counsel John Durham’s efforts to investigate the origins of the Russia hoax are beginning to center on Hillary Clinton and her team. The latest sign that Durham is on the march is an in limine motion he filed with the Court seeking to have admitted into evidence a text message that one of Hillary’s campaign attorneys, Michael Sussmann, sent to the FBI.
Almost two months ago, Durham filed a conflict of interest motion with the D.C. Federal District Court. In it, he asserted that his office would show that Perkins Coie, the attorney for Hillary Clinton and her 2016 political campaign, spied on Trump during the campaign and after he became president. As noted in that summary, the motion arose in the context of an indictment against Michael Sussmann, a partner in Perkins Coie. Sussmann met with James Baker, the FBI General Counsel before the election because he claimed to have proof that Trump was secretly communicating with Alfa-Bank, a Russia-based bank. Durham further alleged that this information came about because Hillary’s campaign used third parties to spy on Trump’s electronic communications.
The basis for going after Sussmann, though, wasn’t the spying (even though it makes Watergate look like a little practice run). Instead, it was the claim that Sussmann lied to the FBI, which is a federal crime. The alleged lie was that Sussmann, when he spoke to Baker, claimed to be at the FBI office as a concerned citizen,

My guess based on the observations of a long life tell me that in the end, Durham dies of old age and the beat goes on
I’ll bet I could predict some upcoming fatal accidents for a few lawyers.

Not ONLY the FBI was in on it, but the DOJ AND the CIA were in on it!

Oh it;s not just those three. Probably 5000 people could be flushed down the DC toilet and there would still be more who were involved with this coup. Traitors all!!

They planned to break the law right up to the point they do everything but publish a white paper on what they did at every vulnerable point in the election process from ballot harvesting and ballot box stuffing, to challenging and changing every election law that would open up more areas of vulnerability to exploit.
Then, on election day, like a chess player in a match who makes a move and hits the timer to signal they have made their move and start the clock for the next player to move, they started the clock. They knew that the inexorable march of time would work against Conservatives, not against those who broke the law. There were hard deadlines they had to lie, cheat, steal, murder, do whatever it takes to get the rock pushed past one deadline.
With each passing deadline, the action needed to turn things back became larger, more intrusive, more extreme, and pushed the Constitutional limits to the point where the remedy to put things right would be so intrusive and emotionally wrenching to the country, that it would never happen.
I have no doubt, none at all, that they did the calculus, decided it had every single chance of succeeding, and they would never get called on it until they had a Leftist Administration in place that in four years, could do all the damage it could and then let the chips fall where they may. There can be no doubt on this. None.
All this is deliberate, and based on the plan that they would break as much law as they could, as openly as they dared, letting one or two people like this turd Sussman or some election official somewhere swing in the wind, just eggs to be broken in the making of their Leftist omelette.
With each day, the cycle of illegality, law breaking, and dissolution of the country continues apace, a moribund country watches with dulled eyes, and they challenge a largely gutless Republican party to defend itself and prove their illegality while Donkey Kong-like, they throw barrels down in front of each attempt to fight back and themselves, incurring more destructive illegality and stepping back into the protective veil of passing time.
And it all becomes "Old News".
