FWIW, I called Susan Collins office this morning and very politely said that voting for KBJ is a very serious mistake given her terrible views on CRT and child pornography defendants.

I don’t know about you but I have had an assful of “The First” this or that instead of “The Best” this or that. Enough already!!! Everything needs to be historic and still turns out hysteric. This is not good for the country.

Someone who covers for sex crimes against minors has no place in the federal judiciary. The Democrats need to know that they will not be allowed to squeeze through a nominee like this again, and if they do, then that person’s position as a judge should be considered at stake.
The Federalist’s Rachel Bovard cites a technique that has been used effectively by such legislative impresarios as Senators Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Pat Toomey (R-Penn.) to block legislation and nominations at the committee level.
Senate Rule 26 gives veto power to the minority over practically anything.
The catch?
It only works when the Senate is in a 50-50 tie, as it is right now.
The Republicans could simply refuse to provide a quorum in the committee for the Jackson vote, permanently stalling the vote and all but ending her nomination. Using Senate Rule 26, Republicans could avert a terrible catastrophe for the Court.
But the problem is not just that Jackson has no business being a Supreme Court justice. She has no business on the federal bench at all. The power of impeachment is not limited to just presidents. The House of Representatives has impeached and the Senate has removed federal judges in the past. Jackson, with her bizarre leniency toward pedophiles, would make an excellent impeachment candidate.

As soon as she was announced I would have bet real money she’d be confirmed. That’s just how it works in the woke states of America.
You shouldn’t have been polite. That does not work. You know Collins won’t be changing her mind and she will always an Assistant Democrat. The least you could have done is make a staffer so uncomfortable that their day is ruined. Continue that each day and sow division. Abuse and ridicule without rest. Moral, ethical, and legal arguments to not work with these scum. We must use other means.

The communists are hand-wringing over how many votes she’s going to get even though it appears she has enough with Manchin and Collins.
You might wonder why they care since there’s no difference between 50 votes and 100 votes, but it does signal that they are worried that they can no longer pull all the crap that they do and still bully even weak Republicans, Collins and Murkowski (who may still vote no since she’s running behind her primary opponent) notwithstanding.
Well why not? We’re slowly being destroyed by (D)’s and liberals; and just wait until May 23d. when we’ll be invaded by millions.

She has a bad track record in her actual decisions, but her apparent ignorance of any and all facts and her unwillingness to state her position are all due to her desperate need to curry favor with the Dems who got her to this point in the first place. She’s afraid to offend her handlers.
