There’s a lot of BS in DC that could be utilized.
Less corn syrup in soda and less corn in our gasoline. Maybe it won’t be so bad hahah
Corn free gas. Better mileage.
Time to take corn out of our gas
More expensive grits.
More estrogen like substances in our food?
No tortillas for you. Less importance to ethanol shucksters who are subsidized by tax $$. Marginally more expensive transportation fuel.
It's a smart reaction to shortage of fertilizer.
less corn pone, more soy boys....................
“I don’t know what less corn and more soy means for us. “
Corn is the main ingredient to feed pigs, chickens and turkeys, dairy cattle and beef cattle.
Just guess what will happen when less corn is planted.
More inflation of course. Totally preventable as is most inflation that is happening.
I'll stick with my little plot of veggies and fruits...
Kellog’s Soy Flakes? Or Tony the Tiger say Sugar Frosted Soy Flakes are GREAT.
Both are major animal feed inputs. I suppose meat is going higher regardless. Less corn means higher fructose, and sugar prices
Also, the record high prices of wheat are incentivizing farmers to plant wheat over any other number of things - oats, onions, carrots, barley.
Most corn is grown to feed livestock, if that gives you a hint.
Yea ethanol!
Any politician who loves Hispanics as much as he says he does will get rid of ethanol mandates and their harmful effects --- in more ways than one.
Perhaps a bit of fear porn going on ... then again, if it isn’t clear to anyone who is paying even a shred of attention that the Democrat/Communist Party is doing everything and anything it can — day in and day out — to destroy our Republic, then it will never be clear to them. This is as blatant as it gets ....
Less feed for beef, pork, chickens. Means lowering supply of these animals and further raising the cost of meat. Talk about a double whammy with inflation already full bore in the market.
On the bright side people can just start eating more soy burgers I guess.
It is way past time to stop turning corn into ethanol to be burned as an expensive, polluting, net energy consuming fuel. That will ease some cost pressure on both fuel and food.
It is simply inexcusable that the US imports a single bucket of nat gas....from anywhere. Other than water, nat gas is probably the single most used feedstock for almost all chemical processes, and that’s before we use one fartload of it for fuel. I’m OK importing potash from Canada but nitrogen fertilizer....no. Other than the ethanol scam, agriculture always seems to get the short end of the stick.
